Chapter 22 - The Saiyan VS The Maiden

                                    

                                          
"This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is the inevitable result of placing blind trust in supposed guardians who are nothing more than mere men. Our academies' headmasters hold more power than most armies, and one even had the audacity to control both."
"They cling to their power under the guise of maintaining peace, yet here we are. Atlas creating a synthetic army and another kingdom's prized student tearing it apart mercilessly. What use does Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent child? The Grimm certainly cannot distinguish between the two. And what are they teaching their students? First, a dismemberment, and now this? Huntsmen and Huntresses should embody honor and mercy, yet I have seen neither."
"Perhaps Ozpin thought winning the tournament against Atlas would make people forget his failure to protect Vale from the Grimm invasion. Or maybe it was a message to the tyrannical dictator occupying an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Frankly, I don't know who is right or wrong, but what I do know is that peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct themselves with an iron fist. As someone from Mistral, I can tell you that the situation there is just as dire."
MEANWHILE
As the sudden broadcast played, two Atlas soldiers glanced up to witness an overwhelming horde of Grimm surging towards the academy. Despite their limited ability, the soldiers began firing at the mass of Grimm. It seemed that the negative emotions arising from Penny's dismemberment had attracted them.
"The kingdoms teeter on the brink of war, and yet the people are kept in the dark. So, I urge you, when the first shots are fired, who can you trust?"
BACK AT BEACON
Goku and Ruby had barely been paying attention to the speech, still lost in their grief. Suddenly, the sound of sirens blared throughout the stadium, interrupting their thoughts.
"ALERT. INCOMING GRIMM ATTACK." A robotic voice announced over the intercom.
The audience quickly stood up, but instead of evacuating calmly, they panicked and scattered in fear, running towards the exits.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please remain calm," Ironwood's voice attempted to soothe them.
But it was too late. Panic had already set in. A Nevermore landed on the energy barrier of the stadium with a loud roar.
Sun and Coco, who were in the audience, looked up in shock. "A Nevermore! How did it breach the kingdom's defenses?" Sun exclaimed.
Coco was equally stunned.
IN OZPIN'S OFFICE
Glynda and Qrow burst into their boss's office to find Ozpin standing by the window looking distressed.
"Oz!" Qrow exclaimed.
Without hesitation, Ozpin spun around and commanded, "Get to the city!"
"But..." Glynda began to object.
"NOW!" Ozpin barked. "Fetch Goku, Vegeta, and get to the city immediately!"
IN THE STADIUM 
Ironwood reached for his scroll and saw Ozpin's call coming in. With a sense of dread, he answered the call.
"O-Ozpin, the girl, I can explain!" Ironwood stuttered nervously.
"You brought your army into my kingdom," Ozpin's voice came through cold and unforgiving. "Use it."
WITH PYRRHA
The red-haired warrior's mind was consumed by guilt. "I... I took a life," Pyrrha thought to herself.
