Xavier POV:

I woke with a start, gasping for air and sitting bolt upright. Wednesday was watching me worriedly. "Are you ok?"she asked. It look like she had been crying. A lot. "Gait Therapy..." I mumbled. "No, no, no, no..."

Wednesday leapt from her chair and positioned herself carefully on the end of my bed. She grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "What about it?"she said softly. Her voice and the very, very small smile on her face comforted me, but I was still nervous. "My father.."I explained. "He owns the only Gait Therapy place in Jericho.." Wednesday looked at me with a confused face. "Please..you don't know him..please, please...." I begged. Tears started to stream down my cheeks and Wednesday gave me a warm yet slightly tight hug. "It's ok." She said. "You don't have to go. But I'm going to see more about this father of yours."

"NO!" I half-screamed, half-whispered. I pulled her onto me and held her tight. "Don't go near him..please..." I cried. "Ok." She replied. Wednesday gave me a small and quick kiss before walking away and closing the door.

Wednesday POV:

I knew Xavier told me not to, but I just had to investigate. His father sounded...suspicious. I didn't trust him adn I didn't want Xavier to get hurt again..because of me. As he occasionally invited me around his house, I knew where it was ; a small alleyway with a large forest behind. The forest where Tyler... never mind. Although the road was small, the house was practically a mansion- large, glass windows with bright white walls and colourful flowers. It was like my home, just the opposite. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I slowly walked up to the door and knocked. No reply. I rang the doorbell instead. No reply. I decided to knock one more time when I felt my head fall back and that familiar tug in my gut. I fell back onto the stone doorstep, I was having a vision. It was the same on I'd had that night in the cell, just more detailed. It showed me walking into the house, followed by Xavier. There were some faint bangs and shouts, then a louder bang and a scream. Then it stopped.

I abruptly sat up, wincing slightly at the cut when I fell back. I could feel the cold, wet blood trickling down my head, but I didn't care. The vision only made me want to investigate more.

I noticed that a window was conveniently wide open, so I slowly climbed through it in other house. I was immediately greeted with a strong stench of alcohol, paint (from Xavier) and blood. "Hello?"I called. No answer. I assumed that Vincent Thorpe wasn't home, so I began to creep around the house. The window I had climbed through led to the dining room which was attached to the kitchen. I noticed that throughout the house, any pictures with Xavier in them had been destroyed- either ripped to pieces or a thick cut down the middle. I slowly walked up the stairs, avoiding every creaking floorboard.
I decided to enter the first room I saw, which happened to be Xavier's room. It was surprisingly tidy for a teenage boy, except from the hundred of paintings. I noticed that most of them were of me. Blushing slightly, I walked over to his bed and found his phone. I knew I shouldn't, but I unlocked the phone with guilt. After many attempts, it turned out that his passcode was my birthday. Weird.
I opened his messages, only to find 4 contacts.
Ajax my guy.
Enid
Bianca
Father
I clicked on Ajax my guy. What was that about?
Xavier. 10:56 pm.
Ajax, stop. I like Wednesday ok? I just wish she liked me back...
Ajax my guy. 10:57 pm.
Calm down dude, I know. I'm trying to get Enid to talk to her, honest.
Xavier. 10:57 pm.
Thanks man.
That was the last message he sent. 2 months ago. Suddenly I heard footsteps outside. My instinct was to hide, but for some reason I clambered out of the window and onto the roof. Almost dying in the process, I climbed down the protruding stones and reached the ground. "HEY!" I heard someone shout from above me. I ran through the streets and into the first store I saw. The Weathervane.
"Why hello, Wednesday.." Tyler said. He smiled his normal smile, but I could hear malice in his voice. "The usual, is it?"
"Uhh, no thanks, I'm here for the, uh, bathroom.."I lied. "Oh, but Wednesday, this is a small café. We don't have a bathroom.." he pouted n and laughed slightly. I backed away but he came closer, until eventually I could hear his heart beating. "Tell anyone what you saw and you'll be next.." he whispered. With that, he turned away, put on a fake smile and served an elderly  lady who wanted a coffee. This just got a lot more interesting.
"Xavier! Xavier! I need to tell you something!" I panted as I burst through the doors into Room 13. He made a noise and looked at me. "So,I went to your house and-"
"You went to my house?!" He shouted. Tears filled his eye sand he began to check if I was ok. "That's the one thing I told you not to do." He laughed slightly but I could see he was worried. "Well, that's what happens when you decide to fall in love with and decorate your room with a weird creepy goth girl." He blushed but smiled. "Okay. Fine. But please never go back. This sounds stupid but you might not return.."
At first I thought he was joking to trick me into not going, but I eventually saw he was telling the truth. "Xavier." I said. "Yeah?" He asked, looking at me. "We're not friends anymore." The colour drained from his face and tears spilled down his cheeks. "What? But..why?" He cried. "Because now I officially declare you my boyfriend."
I grabbed his neck and pulled his face to mine, smashing our lips  together. We both melted into the kiss and pulled away, gasping. His face turned form disbelief into joy. "I'm Wednesday Addams boyfriend! The Wednesday Addams!" He cried. I smiled slightly. For the first time in months, I felt truly happy.
