***Now my main focus is to avoid Neteyam at all costs ***
"These are Ilu," The chief's son said, I couldn't keep my eyes open I I woke up a little early and stayed up. I shouldn't have done that  "If you want to live here, you have to ride" "I'll teach Lo'ak, Neteyam and Ma'yan can go with aonung, Tuk you head back onshore" "Awe man" Tuk got off Neteyam and swam back to shore.
 Just great, my plan to avoid Neteyam is ruined, I avoided him this morning maybe I can avoid him during our lesson too.
We swam away from Lo'ak and Tsireya, there were two ilu in front of us. I touched one of them and it snarled at me "You have to be gentle and slow with your approach not immediate" "Sorry" "Who wants to go first?" "I'll go" Aonung helped Neteyam up on the Ilu, I got a little jealous...fine not a little a lot but I tried pushing down my jealousy.
After Neteyam connected his braid with the animal, it took off with him. Aonung tapped me on my shoulder motioning me to go down. I went down and saw Neteyam, he was still on it even tho the ilu was going fast if I was on that thing I would've fallen the first 5 seconds.
After a while, Neteyam came back with it, Aonung gave him a high five "You did it!" He had a smile on his face "It was pretty easy" Neteyam replied "Alright, you next Mi'yan" "It's Ma'yan" "Just get on" jerk much, I got on the ilu that snarled at me, it started moving back and forth "Calm yourself, it can sense your fear" Breath in and out, in and out, I reminded myself. Once it slowed down I connected my braid with it, It felt very overwhelming.
I felt its breath, the feeling of the water, the heartbeat. Everything, "Remember to calm yourself-" "Yes I know," I said in a harsh tone, I didn't mean it, but this feeling and some jerk repeating the same thing was not it for me right now.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath then I felt a cold hand on my thigh "Goodluck" I opened my eyes to see it was Neteyam, "Thanks" After getting comfortable, I said forward in my mind then boom in an instant I was underwater, I already felt myself coming off, the animal is going to fast.
I don't think I can hold on any longer but I must try I couldn't I had to let go. And then I did, I let go of the ilu and fell back in the water I swam up to the surface to catch my breath and after swam back to the others.
"Are you okay?" Neteyam grabbed my hand but I quickly took my hand out of his "Yeah, I'm fine" I wiped the water off my face "Can't lie you held on better than I thought you would expect you fell at the end" Aonung laughed.
I was frustrated and very upset I don't know why I'm usually not like this, "Clearly forest boy is sad, let's take a break, I'll go look at what the others are doing" Aonung swam away too go to the Lo'ak and Tsireya. 
I rolled my eyes and just stood there in the water not even facing him "Ma'yan, I know you know that I know about your crush on me okay?" My heart sank a little, He knows. And he wants to talk about it with me I'm not ready "I just want to talk to you about it" Neteyam stepped closer to me, grabbing my hand "I like y-" "I should Continue to practice I was horrible at first I'm gonna try and get better"
 I jumped back on the ilu and connected my braid once again and took off.
