    Love and War

    When they said said that,
    "All is fair in love and war"
    They meant
    "All is excusable 
    In love and war"
    But how do you tell that 
    To a lover who has
    Only known abuse?
    And to the mother
    Who's son is still missing?
    Perhaps,
    All is not excusable in love
    Nor in war
