Ugly Evers leaped at stunning Nevers and all of them collided in the middle of the room, breaking into battle.

Evers relied on their weapons where Nevers trusted their magic to aid them. Bald Brone and her friends created golden balls of light, which another boy kicked at the Evers. Hester summoned her demon, making it grab Tedros my his shirt. "Call yourself a prince, Teddy?" she mocked as she swung him across the room.

Everboys went to guide their leader, and threw spears at Hester, catching her off guard. Anadil stepped in, stopping the spears mid-air and saving Hester from being impaled.

Dot manifested a ball of scolding hot chocolate with a foul cackle. "Who wants hot chocolate?" she offered menacingly before she lunged it at someone. My eyes rolled back into my head as I felt relief as the ghost finally left my body, leaving me to fend for myself.

I spotted Hort being held down my a couple of Evers, and my blood boiled. I've never felt this much emotion in my whole life.

A burning pain spread in my back and head, making be crouch down. Lime green flames in the same color as my fingerglow appeared around me. My scream filled the room as two black wings burst through my back, ripping through my skin, finally freeing themselves. The battle calmed a little as heads turned to me, watching me transform. Two black horns grew out of my upper forehead, my nails growing longer and sharper.

I sighed, the pain finally gone, and my true potential finally reached. I looked around, taking in the Evers' shocked and horrified faces contrasting the Nevers' happy and proud faces. My look moved back to Hort on the ground, the Everboys that pinned him distracted. He made his claws appear, and swiped the boys' legs, causing the battle to resume.

Three Everboys leaped at me, testing their luck. With newfound confidence and power, my wings begun hitting, lifting me from the ground. I saw them stop running and look up at me keeping myself in the air, having the higher ground. With a grin, I summoned lime green flames in my hands, and shot them at the boys, making them scatter in fear. I let out the loudest and foulest cackle that had even escaped my mouth.

I saw Hort grab a bat from the wall and beat a couple of Evers with them. He laughed, having the greatest fun he'd ever had. Suddenly, I was struck off-guard, and I fell to the ground, landing in Tedros' grasp.

"Hi, lovely," he said, holding me captive in his prisoning grip. His breath stunk, hitting my face and neck. "Let me go," I groaned. "How about we cut off these wings, hm?" he said foully. I gasped, my eyes widening. "You wouldn't dare," I hissed. "Oh yeah? I've read your mother's fairytale. Iron, isn't it?" he asked, revealing a piece of iron chain.

Hort saw what was going on, me struggeling in Tedros' grasp. Fury filled his eyes as he manouvered his way through battling Evers and Nevers.

"You just had that in your pocket?" I asked, digusted. "I figured if you were going to unleash, tonight would be the night," he explained. "So, yes." He lowered the chain to the base of my wing. I screamed in pain over the sizzeling of my burning flesh. "Bet you won't fly so much now, huh," Tedros gritted. "I'm just a kid," I bellowed. He stopped. "Just a kid.."  We're all just kids..

He let me go, dropping the iron chain to the floor. I could see how shaken he was about what he had just did, and what I had just said. "I'm sorry," he stuttered. "I'm really, really sor-" He was cut off by Hort hitting him in the head with his bat. He fell to the floor, Hort looking down at him, very pleased with himself. He looked back up at me, seeing my face, now he looked worried.

"Are you ok? What did he do to you?" he asked, running up to me. I said nothing, I just turned around, showing him the wound Tedros had made. It wasn't that large, but it still was a fleshwound. I tried to flap my wings, but it hurt too much. I whimpered in pain.

"Let's take you outside, you need some air," he said, holding around me as he led me out the doors.
