Pfft, he really wants to laugh at the pathetic state that the snake was in right now. Sitting in front of the fireplace on the floor, wrapping herself up with layers of upon layers of thick clothing and blankets. Not to mention she's probably wearing some heating pads too inside her inner garments (Shé Baihua finally told him about the heating pads). My my, a creative way of finding such inventions to make oneself warm. 
But this once haughty and arrogant green snake got reduced to such a pathetic state all because of a cold?. Wow he's impressed. She doesn't even realize that he's basically sneaking up on her from behind. Has her senses been clouded that much because of her sickness?? Pfft, poor her~.
Fufufufu, taking up Shé Baihua's job of bringing some hot soup is worth it if it is to see the green snake in such a pathetic state. Actually, Shé Baihua probably misunderstood his relationship with her big sister and thought that he became her sister's friend because she claimed to have seen them bonding(actually bickering) every other day whenever they met each other. 
They probably seem close in her ever, that's why when Shé Baihua was in a hurry to do something and accidentally met Chengzhi, she shoved the tray of soup to Chengzhi and politely asked him to help gave it to her sick big sister. Which of course he would gladly comply, because it's been true that he has not seen the green snake anywhere when she started to shut herself in because she was sick. 
Oh my he's even starting to miss her venomous tounge~ but just kidding-ଘ(੭ ᐛ )━☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ
He missed seeing her getting annoyed and suffering within his mansion. He's starting to get very bored because even the merchants who he always annoyed with business meetings are now settling down and held back their progresses because of winter. That is why he purposedly agreed to hand over the soup to Shé Famei. To hope that he could find some entertainment that is. 
It's also funny to see how the two little maids bickering in front of the snake's room, seemingly panicking that she's been sick for days even though she has received their best medicine. Yeah, about that... Why couldn't normal medicine work for her though?? His master even commanded them to give her some of his precious rejuvenation pills that Chengzhi made with care. So that she could be immediately healed and work hard again towards his master's goal. 
But strangely speaking, there really seems to be no effect to her at all ?. He knew from Shé Baihua that her big sister needed to ingest poison everyday to be healthy because of a special condition that she suffered. But isn't this too much?. Having to be unable to get by with regular medicine, does she perhaps needs to have a demonic doctor from the demon realm to check on her? Or should he get some celestial physician?. Well anyways, he just couldn't believe his eyes to see such a state of the snake. 
He's amused and satisfied that she got reduced to such a pathetic state, but even he would get too bored if she's sick everyday. He decided to treat her like a play thing after all to satisfy his trickster urges since she gave more emotions than his master does when tricked. And a good toy must not be broken in order to be played. 
"*Hoarse voice* Shé.... Baihua? Did you bring me some soup?. If yes, then...."
"*coughs* Just put it on the usual table. I'll... Eat later."
Gods, wow even her usually sultry voice is now that bad. He really wanted to hold his laugh real bad, she sounded even worse than a frog demon in mating season when they croak. Damn she needs to get that fixed real bad. 
"*still didn't turn her back as she heard the sound of bowl/cup being placed down* Thanks.... Little sister."
Hoo~ she really doesn't recognize his presence when that good nose of hers is clogged up huh? Her sense of smell is actually really good after all. So much that she could even recognize him immediately from his scent whenever he changed his appearance into his other human identities. He once tried to prank her by shape shifting and camouflaging himself as a servant to try and mess with her, but she immediately pitted him to the back of a building and interrogated him in full blown assasin mode.
