Felix rolled his eyes as he looked out the window to the view of his new home, Paris, the city of love. Rain drowned the busy roads, flocks of people with umbrellas crowded the sidewalks.
"Isn't it just beautiful! You're going to love it here." Amalie gushed, her eyes sparkling.
"It's fine, lots of pigeons." he sighed turning to face her.
"All busy cities are going to have pigeons, Felix."
He let out another sigh and looked back out. The city was beautiful, not that he would ever admit that. He didn't even want to be here in the first place.
Some regret started to take over his thoughts. He was technically the one who agreed to stay at his uncle's place. Only until his mother was back from her vacation, which should be at least a few months.
Sure, he didn't want to be near Gabriel longer than he has too. His uncle never did like him very much, but at least he was willing to give him a room. His only other option would have been to stay with his late fathers parents, and he would rather cut his hand off than hear his grandfather snore every night.
They pulled up to the mansion. Adrien's body guard open the door and helped both of them out of the car and lead them to the front door.
Natalie stood at the entrance with a smile "Good morning Amalie, Felix. I hope you had an enjoyable flight here."
"We did, thank you. Terribly sorry for the short notice, I hope you don't mind. I'm just here to drop off Felix and wish his goodbye. I won't be able to stay much longer. My flight leaves in less than an hour." Amalie smiled.
"I'll let Mr. Agreste that you visited. Thank you for dropping Felix off, I ensure he's in good hands."
"Thank you Natalie. I best be off, goodbye Felix."
She leaned down and kissed the top of his head and left for the limo.
"Come inside, it's cold out there." Natalie said, grabbing hold of his luggage "Follow me."
She lead him through the empty hauls and up the stairs into a smaller, about the size of his closet at home, but well kept. There was a bed down the middle. A desk on the left wall and on the right was the bathroom with the walk in closet.
"This is where you will be staying for the next few months. Your room will be deep cleaned daily when you're at school. A tablet is on your bed stand with your schedule. There you can also request for the maids to fulfill any of your needs. Let me or Adrien know if you need anything else, he lives right across the haul from you. I hope you enjoy your stay here." Natalie smiled, shutting the door behind her.
Felix gave the room a quick look and sighed. This is what home will be looking like for the next few months.
