Riddle released himself from your hold but still kept your hands interlaced with his. "The culprit! He's getting away! You need to apprehend Ruggie Bucchi immediately! Housewarden's orders!" He yelled at the two freshmen who jumped back in surprise.

Deuce's jaw dropped. "Whaaat?!" Ace rolled his eyes with a dramatic groan. "What does this gotta do with us?!" He yelled before you grabbed both their hands and pulling them in the direction Ruggie went. "Let's get 'em boys!" You shouted.

They stumbled. "Wha-! Okay, okay!" Ace shouted before getting his balance back. Deuce sped up to run next to you. "Wait,
Y/N! Y-You, uh, didn't happen to overhear anything, right?" He mumbled nervously with red cheeks.

You glanced over. "You mean about the pink leopard print, yeah. I'm sure you looked great in it though!" Frankly, he didn't know wether to be embarrassed or pleased with that response.

"Myah?! There you guys are! I've almost got 'em!" Grim shouted once you had found him chasing Ruggie who was running around aimlessly. The dirty blonde glanced back. "What, you think some freshmen and a weasel can catch ME? All of you look as slow as molasses—and I'm not talking about your runnin' speed!" He laughed.

Grim hissed. "I am NOT a weasel!" He yelled. Ace groaned. "Save it! We got work to do!" He yelled before blowing a strong gust of wind with his magic pen at the hyena. Ruggie smirked and jumped away so it hit a woman's portrait instead.

The Savanaclaw resident laughed, running away as the portrait gasped, frame beginning to sway. You quickly grabbed it, steadying her before mumbling a quick apology and continuing to run after the male.

Ruggie scoffed from in front of you, pointing his tongue out. "You're in over your head! Better go recharge in your dorm with a spot of tea." He mocked. Ace frowned, annoyance spreading over his face. "Argh! It's like chasing a wild animal..." He complained.

Deuce hunched forwards. "Hah... Hah... But if we let him get away, our heads are gonna roll..." He panted before picking himself back up. Grim immediately shook his head. "Haaaaard no on that! We gotta catch that guy!" He yelled. Ruggie snorted. "Respect for not throwing in the towel, I guess. Shyehee!" He shrugged.

You pursed your lips as Ruggie made his way through a more narrow hallway. You grinned at a thought. "Deuce-" He smirked at you, pulling out his pen. "I had the same thought." He said back before pointing his pen above Ruggie.

"I summon thee: Cauldron!" He shouted before it appeared a few feet in front of Ruggie. The hyena tumbled away, nearly falling to the floor. He grimaced. "Yipe! O-Okay, yeah. Maybe that one was a little fur-raisin'...but unlike you guys, I'm not on my last legs! Byeee!" He yelled back yet again taking off.

Ace pointed at him in shock. "Hah... Hah... H-How's he not even winded after all that running?!" The strawberry blonde yelled.

Eventually you had run him into the courtyard, the hyena making a stop just short of the well. He turned to you and laughed. "Shyeheehee! Three-in-one, and this is the best you can do? Pretty pathetic, guys." He said. Ace panted. "What is WITH this dude?! He's crazy fast!" He breathed out.

Deuce nodded in agreement. "It's not just that he runs fast... It's like no terrain even slows him down!" Grim sighed. "Myaaaaah... I don't even think I can catch him." Ruggie shrugged with a smirk. "Shyeheehee! Compared to the backstreets of the slums, this is a cakewalk. Did you even think this through? Let's say you do catch me—can you even be sure that I did it?"

You crossed your arms, frown painted on your face. "Well, you don't exactly give off the innocent guy look." You shot back. Ruggie shrugged, slight smile still on his face. "That's fair. But what about evidence? Do you have a witness who saw me casting spells? For that matter, did anyone snap a picture? You don't have anything like that, do you?" He said with an eyebrow raised.
