They did the research and the equipment and were well on their way to the spooky old castle on Haunted Hill. When they got there they unpacked their stuff and began to do some ghost hunting.

They walked slowly down the dark, cold corridor; using their talents to find the source.

"What's the temperature, George?" Lockwood asked as he pulled out his sword.

"37, it's getting cold fast. Just two seconds ago it was 65 degrees."

"It sounds like the source is under us like we're supposed to fall somewhere and maybe that's what happened here to the person that is haunting this very castle," Lucy said, turning to her friends to see if they have any other theories. Like so, they don't have any.

They kept walking down the dark hallway with their sword at the ready. Lockwood, however, was to the end of the hall when, "AHHHHHHHHHH!" he fell down a hole. He was still holding on to the outside of the circle with his hands and the rest of his body dangling into black, darkness. Lucy soon heard the fall and came to his rescue while George went back to their bags to get some rope.

"What happened?" Lucy asked in a panicked tone. Before he could say anything she already pulled him up with all of her strength. Lucy pulled Lockwood to safety before George came running back with the rope in his hands ready to get Lockwood out of the hole, but was too late when he saw that Lucy had already beat him to Lockwood's rescue.

"How did you get him up, Lucy?" George said a little disappointed that he wasn't a hero.

"I don't know. All I did was pull him from the hole. I thought if we needed the rope you would be here just in time and here you are," Lucy said confusing everybody.

"What do you mean?" Lockwood asked.

"Yeah Lucy, I'm confused too. What do you mean?" George said in a little concern with a plan brewing in Lucy's mind.

"I mean," Lucy started to explain her plan. " that we can climb down that hole and find the source. Didn't I say that it sounded like it was under us." She made a reasonable argument and no one said anything to compete with that, but they nodded their heads with approval and began trying to find a place to tie the rope to so they could climb down this deep, dark, mysterious hole.

After climbing two stories down the dark hole they finally reached the floor in this hidden blackness. But in the middle of this scary, dark room was a small bright figure standing right before them. The figure stood over a skeleton, probably its own. The ghost seemed to be an easy type one, so they threw an iron blanket over the bones and went back to the rope.

"Well, that's a good day's work everybody. Let's go get packed up," Lockwood said heading up the rope.
