As I got back to the compound, I saw everyone.
"It actually" worked!" Rhodey said.
"You guys have no idea how much there is to gossip. Natasha so-" I stopped "Where's Natasha?" I asked realising she is not there.
"Clint, where's Nat?" Hulk asked.
Barton didn't answer, telling us what had happened. Hulk fell to his knees, letting out his sorrows.
"No!" I whispered "Not another person."

We all were outside, mourning her death.
"Do you know if she had a family?" asked Tony.
"Yeah, us." replied Steve.
"What?" Thor asked, "You all are acting like she's dead. Why are we acting like she's dead? We have the stones, right? As long as we have the stones we can bring her back. So, stop this shit. We are The Avengers, get it together."
"We can't bring her back." Barton said.
"What-what?" stammered Thor.
"It can't be undone. It can't." Barton repeated.
"I am sorry. No offense but you are very earthly and we are talking about space magic. And 'can't' seems very definitive, don't you think?"
"Look, I know that I'm way outside my pay grade here. But still she isn't here, is she?" Barton told everyone.
"Now..that's my point-"
"It can't be undone! Or at least that's what the great floating head had to say. Anyone up to talk to him? Thor, go grab your hammer, go fly and talk to him!" Barton was angry and then he broke down, "It was supposed to be me! She sacrificed her life for that goddamned stone!"
Hulk threw a bench across the lake, "She's not coming back. We have to make it worth it. We have to."
"We will." Steve nodded.
"We'll make sure of one bloody thing, that she didn't die for that goddamned stone, she died saving trillions. Ok?" I assured everyone.
