The Last Time

2016, Clints farm (a few weeks later)

"Where are the rings?" Costia asked Wanda nervously. She tried to pull the zipper of her dress up on her own, without success. "Cos, calm down. I have the rings, now turn around and let me zip your dress." Wanda said and to her surprise Costia actually listened.

The blonde woman looked at herself in the mirror, she wore a white dress that didn't hide her arms. But she didn't really stress about that, more that she was going to marry Natasha without one of her best friends and with the constant fear that Ross would show up at their doorstep.

"I think I need to talk to Natasha." Costia decided as she swiftly walked towards the door, Wanda was quick to stop her though. "No, you don't." she warned, "Come on, breathe with me." she tried to calm her friend down. It wasn't really working.

Costia walked back towards the mirror, she had to admit, she looked really good. Wanda had put her light blonde her up in a updo which matched her dress perfectly. "I did good work. You are a beautiful bride." Wanda cheered as she took Costias hand and turned her around.

The blonde chuckled, "Thank you." she smiled. "You don't look bad yourself, though." Costia complemented the light red dress Wanda was wearing. "Shut up, Cos. It's your day." she said.

"I'll go and check if Natasha is ready." Wanda said before walking towards the door, "Stay here." she warned.

Costia sat down on the bed, she was afraid her legs were too weak to carry her. Not because she was actually weak but because she was so nervous and her knees were shaking.

It really bugged her that Tony couldn't be here, he didn't even know they were marrying here and today. Her and Natasha had planned that their marriage should be in a small circle, but not that small.

They were both not religious so they didn't have a problem with marrying on Clints farm instead of a church, they had actually planned on doing that before everything happened. Luckily Clint made a deal with Ross which allowed him to not go to prison but stay at the farm instead, once a week someone came to check that he was still there. He also had to wear a ankle cuff that detected where he was.

Costia just wished that it was different, that they didn't have to live with that constant fear. She felt like it was all her fault, because she couldn't bring herself to sign the damn Accords.

"Ready to go?" Wanda asked as she bursted into the room, pulling Costia out of her thoughts. The blonde smiled as she stood up and joined Wanda, together they walked downstairs where Bucky was waiting for them.

Wanda clapped her hands a few times in excitement before she spoke up, "I'll go wait outside, Natasha is already there." she said before she nodded one last time and walked out of the door.

Bucky sighed as he looked at Costias dress, "Your big day, huh." he smiled. "Yeah." Costia took a shaky breath, "I never thought I would be allowed to have this." she said before the two heard footsteps coming from the stairs.

First Lila and Cooper came down the staircase with flower baskets in their hands, they were followed by Nathaniel who was walking with Sams hand as support. Lila gasped as she spotted Costia, "You look so beautiful!" she said exited as she hugged her. "Thank you, Lila."

"Come on, kids. This way." Sam said, obviously a little overwhelmed with his job. Lila and Cooper were the flower girl and boy, the little girl insisted on doing that job.

Bucky took Costias arm and together they walked after the four. When they rounded the corner of the house Costia spotted Natasha, she looked stunning in her white dress and her long red hair. The dress perfectly hugged her frame. Natasha and Costia both couldn't hide the smiles on their faces, they were going to get married.
