"No way, you talked with the normie again last night? Wow, my Hermanita is finally going to get her first boyfriend" I swoon, seated on Wednesday's bed with Thing resting beside me. Wednesday had found Thing on her bed a couple of nights ago so now he was basically her sidekick of sorts.

"I've also made a plan," Wednesday pauses, in somewhat of a dramatic effect. "I will escape this educational penitentiary at the Harvest Festival, Tyler will help me." I stare at her in shock.

"What?! I thought you might've actually been liking it here, and Tyler the normie, you sure you can even trust him?"

"I trust I can handle myself, and I thought you would be escaping with me" I frown, looking down at my chipping red nails.

"Wednesday, I like it here. I don't want to leave this place, but I can help you if that's what you really want. Just say the word, and I'll be there!" I get up from the bead, bringing Wednesday into a hug, blocking out her protests.

"So, see anyone that our beauty sleep was worth for yet?" Yoko teases as we sat on a bench together along with her friend Divina. I had started growing closer to both girls and soon realized that both girls definitely wanted to be closer than friends with each other, but that wasn't my place to say anything. (If you guys don't like this ship that's too bad)

"No, all these people suck" I whine, placing my head on Yoko's shoulder. I look around at the many booths and concession stands before making eye contact with Wednesday who was accompanied by Enid.

"I'll be right back okay?" Yoko nods as I get up, making my way over to the pair. I stood beside them as they continued their conversations.

"Are you sure you can trust that normie?" Enid asks, staring at the boy across from the sheriff. I quickly put two and two together and realized it was Tyler, the normie barista who would be helping Wednesday.

"I trust that I can handle myself," Wednesday says to Enid, her answer matching the one she gave me earlier that day.

"Well, good luck and safe travels." Enid moves in for a hug, Wednesday quickly moving away.

"Still not a hugger. Got it." Enid leaves off to Yoko and Divina, while Wednesday and I stand in comfortable silence.

"So, how about we spend some time together at the booths?" I bounce on my heels, waiting for Wednesday to turn down my request as she usually would've.

"Sure"

"Wow, you are changing" I laugh, turning to walk alongside Wednesday, my arm, of course, wrapped around her shoulder. We continue walking before Wednesday picks up a dart at a booth, hitting a balloon dead on. She continued this until she popped a total of five balloons.

"Jeez, you get any better at this, you'll be taking home a whole pack." Both Wednesday and I turn to our left, making eye contact with Xavier.

"Pandas don't travel in packs, they prefer solitary"

"All right. Subtle hint taken" Xavier sighs, resting his arms on the ledge of the booth.

"You should know I'm waiting for someone," Wednesday says.

"Oh yeah, who's the lucky guy... or girl?"

"What does it matter to you?" Wednesday replies, rather defensively.

"Didn't mean to interrupt." We all turn our attention behind Xavier to a curly-haired boy. It was the normie, Tyler.

No one says anything but I watched as Xavier's demeanor changed to a furious one. What happened to him?

"Well Wednesday," I sigh, turning the girl to face me. "Good luck, and make sure to keep in contact or I swear to God" I laugh, pulling Wednesday in for an uncomfortable hug considering she just stood there, arms by her side. She leaves with Tyler as I continue to stand in my spot, noticing that Xavier was still there.

"So, you couldn't stop talking about me for that whole year?" Xavier teases, breaking the silence between us. I glare at him playfully.

"Oh please, don't be so full of yourself" I scoff, moving closer to Xavier. "So, want to go hang out, I got some money for snacks"

Xavier smiles, moving to stand beside me as we walked. "Sure, let's go"

The sounds of the various gaming booths and the screaming from the rides filled my ears as we moved through the crowd. We continue walking, talking about nothing in particular.

"So, your sister really hasn't changed since we were ten" Xavier laughs. "And neither have you"

"What is that supposed to mean?" I turn to face him.

"Well, I just mean that you still act the same, nice and bubbly and you're still pretty" My eyes widen at his words. He just called me pretty.

"Wow, you thought I was pretty back then?" I smirk at the boy playfully before we continue walking. "Well, if I'm being honest, you're still not bad to look at"

"Wow, nice compliment" We laugh as we reach a bench, sitting down only a few inches between us. "So, what's Wednesday doing? I'm just asking because you said goodbye and stuff"

"Uh, it's nothing important" I deflect his question, fidgeting with the hem of my skirt. "But, choose which concession stand you want to go to, my treat" I smirk, holding up the vouchers I had purchased earlier that night.

"Wow, you are a true gentleman" I chuckle at his sarcasm, resting my head against his shoulder.

"Is it okay if I do this?"

"Yeah, sure" He fumbles over his words slightly, but I discard them as I watch Wednesday run into a clearing in the forest. What the hell was she doing now?

"Hey, wait here okay? I gotta go do something." I lift my head up from Xavier's shoulder, making my way toward where Wednesday had gone.

"Wait, Dahlia! Where are you going?" Xavier asks, sighing as I continue making my way through the crowd.

I finally reach the clearing where Wednesday had gone, walking farther in, seeing no sign of her yet.

"Wednesday?" I call out, making my way over to a loud commotion. I stare in shock as I see Rowan holding Wednesday up against a tree with his telekinesis. "Rowan put her down!" Wednesday turns her attention to me while Rowan stays fixated on her.

"No! My mother said it was my destiny to stop this girl if she ever came to Nevermore because she will destroy the school and everyone in it."

"Rowan what the hell is your problem, I swear to God put her down right now!" Before I can move any closer, a loud rustling nearby inches closer.

Suddenly a large figure appears, taking Rowan down, and causing Wednesday to fall in front of the tree. I'm snapped out of my trance as I walk towards her.

"Wednesday!" I inspect her, making sure she wasn't hurt, though she was only focused on the scene unfolding in front of us. I turn in their direction as well, hearing Rowan's loud screams, the leaves around him painted with his deep red blood.

The large creature turns towards us, a loud roar erupting from it, Its eyes wide. The creature leaves off into the woods back where it came from. What the hell was that?!

Wednesday moves towards Rowan, I try to stop her but she continues. She picks a drawing that had fallen on Rowan's chest.

What the hell had I just gotten myself into?

I hope you enjoyed the chapter! So I kept her power the same but added a few more abilities. She will also be revealing other things she is able to do in upcoming chapters so I hope that will be good. I honestly don't really like how I wrote this chapter but whatever. Anyways, please vote and comment any suggestions or requests you have for me or my writing.
