I headed back to my room, still able to smell her lovely scent on my clothes. I rubbed my face and sat on the edge of the bed, just staring at the wall. Why was she acting like this? Because of her friend? I thought about the lyrics I overheard under disturbing loud music. 'I'm not a hero, missy' I mumbled under my breath and rolled my eyes, finishing up my whiskey. Surely our summer affections couldn't carry on and the sooner she understood that, the better. From now on I was just a teacher, which was degrading for a school governor after so many years. I could not risk my career further like that. I was a step away from Azkaban as it is. No matter how taunting it would be. I had to show her, she did not have space within my attention anymore.

3rd of September, Waxing Gibbous 🌗The next morning, I skimmed through everything that happened last night. I saw a small bottle with a "drink me" sign attached to it and I chugged it without any second thoughts, hoping it would help with my headache. It sure did and in no time. I took a mental note to ask for a recipe. I collapsed back down on my pillows and sighed deeply, nibbling on my lip, as flashes of confusing the door roamed through my head. I shook my head and eventually got up. I put on a black tank top and a pair of sweatpants before I put my earphones on, which, thanks to a simple spell, played music.
I tied my hair into a pony tail to get them out of the way and I went for a run. I decided to take a jog near the forest to weigh my options. I knew Mina would be there to assist me but unfamiliar surroundings could be scary after I change...The sun poured over the valley and I breathed in sharp air. It tickled my senses pleasantly as I ran up to the edge of the forest. Hagrid's hut was nearby, which was worrying. I had to be careful, since it looked like he was guiding the entrance of the woods. The trees were bending here in an arch, their dark branches thickening, the further inside I tried to look.
'It's perfect' I smiled a little, understanding this place was most likely to be avoided by students. I found a nook in the ground and a small passage inside. That was my spot.
I rushed to wash myself and prepare for the classes.Mina Leclerc 🦊
I groaned angrily, desperately trying to get rid of a tangle in my hair. I tried all the spells in the world but my clumped locks of hey colour would stick together no matter what. As if my head didn't hurt enough already. I glanced over at my pocket lunar calendar and sighed deeply, realising the full moon was only ten nights away. I was always nervous to assist Lucy, the creature she was becoming was beautiful, but no matter how much she calmed me down, seeing her after in the morning could sometimes be a stomach-turning experience. I was sure some psychos would consider her blood covered face sexy, but I sure wasn't one of them. I slipped my feet in my heeled black shoes to match the skirt and left my room, heading to Potions class.
Professor Clearwater was a chubby little guy, his bearded face and dreadlocks were giving him an eccentric look. His class was enjoyable enough as he intruduced us to basic poison knowledge and how to recognise them. But what I was really looking forward to was the Care of Magical Creatures. The dungeon with no windows was making me feel sick and I craved for some fresh air, so when the two hours of Potions passed, I almost ran towards the forest grounds. I saw a small hut where the students began to gather and I joined them.'Hey, you're one of the French girls... the pretty one' A boy with curly brown hair and big green eyes approached me, holding out his hand. His smile was charming and I automatically smiled back.
'Hi, yeah I'm Mina. Although Lucy is pretty too' I cocked my eyebrow but shook his hand as he introduced himself.
'I'm Dean and your friend looks like Morticia Addams with yellow eyes'
