chapter one hundred and sixteen

                                    

                                          
(Hello again everyone before we start the chapter i wanted to let people know i will be atleast taking a a few days off because Christmas is coming up and I'll be busy but i promise I'll keep posting when i can anyways enjoy the story) 
few minutes later I was woken by a constant tapping on my shoulder as I let out a groan pulling the jersey jacket I had over my head trying to get some more sleep as the tapping returned again. I started growing pissed for whoever was ruining my slumber. 
"Leave me alone" I mumble out gripping the jersey jacket pulling it closer. I heard a chuckle behind me as I felt an arm wrap around me. 
"(y/n) you need to get up" Bruce whisper rubbing my back a little as I let out sigh sitting up a bit rubbing at my eyes before opening them finding myself still in the truck with the boys around me as I looked around finding everyone packing up their things leaving the drive in. 
"You're lucky you got woken up by Bruce I would have just dragged you out the truck" Vance said laughing a bit as Bruce turned his head back slightly glaring at Vance before turning his head to face me again. 
"Sorry for falling asleep" I said with a little yawn. 
"It's okay" the boys said as one by one they hopped out of the cargo bed I stayed behind thinking they were just going to clean up the mess.
"Are you coming?" Robin said, holding his hand out to me. I tilted my head getting up to my feet walking over to them before hopping out the truck, almost tripping over my feet when Robin grabbed my hand pulling me close to his side before he pulled me along with him as we started walking away from the truck.
"Um where are we going?" I questioned the boys as we kept walking. None of them answered my question as I kept to myself following along with them till, we ended up walking past a few trees over to the river and that's when one of the boys finally decided to answer my question.
"Were going for a swim"
"You know we could have gone to a pool tomorrow" I said, staring a bit at the water as the little me wanted to just jump right in.
"It's more fun this way" Robin said, rushing out to the water as the others did the same, throwing their shoes and socks off as I just watched them from afar. The water was only waist deep as the boys splashed water at each other laughing their asses off. Well, you only live once I thought before throwing my jersey jacket off and taking my shoes and socks off throwing them near the tree before rushing in the water as my body tremble from the sudden coldness wrapping around my waist to my feet as I stayed still waiting for my body to get used to the water as I looked up to the boys noticing Vance had disappear from the group. I spun around quickly as Vance stood behind me scooping me up into his arms, throwing me in the air a bit as I started kicking around trying to get out his grasp before he threw me back down as I found myself under the water pushing myself back up gasping for air.
"Vance!!!!" I screamed out as I sat up shivering while Vance was standing there hollering in a fit of laughter. two can play this game I thought I couldn't really pick up Vance and throw him in the water but there was another way as I got up to my feet running over to him pulling him into a hug as he quickly stops laughing looking down at me quickly before he could push me, I pulled him back as we both landed in the water.  Vance shot up shivering a bit as he ran back on dry land while I was still in the water laughing a bit. "that's what you get!"
even if I got water on me again it didn't matter since I was getting used to the cold. Vance stared at me with a stern look as I rolled my eyes at him getting back up walking over to the others who were splashing around or sitting in the water as I stood there watching them before getting out the water taking a seat next to a pissed off Vance after a while the boys got out the water as we all started putting our socks and shoes back on. I thought the fun would be over now but apparently there was still one more thing the boys had planned as we started walking down the street, I went to turn the corner to my house when Bruce wraps an arm around me. 
"Umm are we not going to go home?" I questioned as I followed after them holding onto Bruce hand.  
"Not yet" Billy said turning around planting a kiss on my head as I could feel heat rising to my cheek as I kept walking with them my mind wandering on what was going on while I felt the cold air nip at my wet clothes causing me to shiver. We didn't stay out in the cold much longer as we all ran into a clothing store. At first, I was confused why we be stopping by a clothing store while the boys were searching around checking some of the clothes Bruce was still by my side though as he chuckles noticing my expression. 
"Darling, you don't want to stay in your wet clothes, do you?"
"Nope" I quickly said as I drag him along with me over to the girl's section as he gladly followed along looking at a few of the clothes holding them out to me as I thank him looking at each of clothes he picked as I ran over to the dressing room to try each of them on while the boys had already settled on the new set of clothes as each of them took a seat or stand while I walk out showing off a bit while they gave me feedback till I finally settled on a pair of rip jeans and a shirt as Bruce ended up paying for me. I questioned the boys if we were now going home but they told me no as Robin walked behind me covering my eyes while Finn was now my eyes as he led me before we came to a stop as Robin pulled his hands back. 
"Open your eyes" Robin whisper as I opened my eyes noticing the bright neon sign spelling out arcade as my face lit up as I looked over to the boys pulling them into a hug.
