"We just want to thank you for saving our son's life. If it weren't for you, we don't know what we'll do without him."
"Your son?" I asked, confused before they move to the side, revealing someone I would never expect to see again.
"Hello, Y/N." He said with a smirk across his face.
My expression changed and put both my hands in my pocket pants, "Simon."
"We're just on our way home back from the hospital and thought it would be nice to have dinner with people who had saved him. Simon got the address from his classmates that happened to be friends with your son." The man told, referring to Atlas as the 'son'.
Simon greeted my dad and shook hands with him, "Oh, so this is the fine young man my daughter just told me about?" Dad chuckled as he patted his shoulder.
"She told you?" The family asked in sync. Now, bro, that's weird as fuck.
I could tell that dad was also getting creeped out by the synchronization too but didn't show it and answered them nonetheless.
Simon kept looking at me the whole time, it started to creep me the hell out. I maintained myself to making him intimidated by me, knowing damn well this is my first time nervous around someone. He took his phone out of his pocket and type something while smirking before turning it off.
"Alrighty, Mr. L/N. Nice to know you. See you guys at 6.00 pm." Simon's dad told us the time we should be there for dinner.
My dad nodded and shook hands with them one last time before sending the family away until their car are out of our sight.
Dad sighed and looked at me, giving me the 'what the hell did my daughter just get into' look. I awkwardly smile at him and quickly ran inside. I lay on a couch and put my legs on Atlas's lap. He smiled while going through his phone.
I glared at him suspiciously, "What? What's up with that smile? Why are you smiling?"
"N- nothing..." He chuckled, "Just, why don't you check on your phone for a sec?"
I got up and grabbed my phone from my bag, laying back down on a couch, and continue to put my legs on At's lap. Turning my phone on as typed in my password because I don't trust shit. Fucking people have no respect for someone's privacy these days. Gotta be secure and careful.
Looking at the notification bar, I saw that I got a text from someone unknown. I slide it open and read it carefully.
----
Unknown
Your attempt to intimidate me wasn't so bad.
It's cute though.
No one ever tries to do that to me knowing I'll easily spill their secrets.
Anyway, can't wait to see you again at dinner, sweetheart.
----
My eyes widened at the last part of the text and immediately got up to make sure I didn't read it wrong. How the fuck did he knows that? I'm sure as hell didn't make it obvious, did I? I hid it well in my opinion since no one ever noticed... except this little shit.
Who the fuck gave him my number?
Atlas let out a sigh while he smiled and shook his head.
"What did you do?" I asked, sort of worried.
"Nothing, dude! Bronwyn asked me for your number, that's it."
"Then, why the fuck would that asshole send me this?" I gritted my teeth and threw my phone at him.
