A/N these are gonna be the dresses they're gonna wear, if you don't like them it's ok and you can find one that suits you better :) just so you know, Aurelia is gonna wear the pink one, as I have an idea for a black dress in a future chapter, but if you really wanna swap them then that's ok too!
(Aurelia's pov)
I sat on Riley's bed as she was sitting on the fluffy rug, sifting through the giant pile of clothes that she had just purchased from the mall. I was on her bed which had a giant picture of Harry Style's face on it. Our shared obsession for the sea foam orbed celeb was one of the reasons we became friends.
I noticed that she had picked a lot of sparkley miniskirts that looked like party wear.. which wasn't anything unusual for Riley, as it was apparently a 'staple' for her.
'Here you go' she sung cheerily, while chucking a short pink dress at my face, nearly knocking my boba out of my hand.
Eyeing the attire suspiciously, I asked Riley where we were going, though I already had an clue...
'Oh yeah, the Jackson Wang is hosting a party tonight, and we're invited.' Shit.
...
(Aurelia's pov)
Jackson Wang was a boy in our grade, who just so happens to be the richest one too. His parents apparently had to go on a business trip. So he decided to throw a huge party at his mansion. Nearly the entire school was invited, as I had seen some freshman's walking through the grand gate to the Wang Manor.
I don't usually party, since the thought of being surrounded by a bunch of drunk kids in someone else's house always made me feel uncomfortable. But Riley, the party animal she is, couldn't go with her other friends since she doesn't live close, and I couldn't let her get drunk alone. So that's why I felt cautious, pulling the pink dress lower down my thigh. It was way to short for my liking, so Riley let me borrow her sheer stockings.
Riley pulled me towards the punch bowl, and ladled some of the green drink into a foam red cup, the ones people always seem to have in wattpad parties. I pulled out a bottle of water from under my dress and sipped from it, while Riley chugged the obviously spiked liquid. She pulled a sour face, before pouring another cup for herself. She didn't even bother offering it to me since I was the designated driver. Whenever I came I was always the designated driver.
Not that I minded of course, I'd rather drive then let Riley at the wheel of my precious van, drunk or not.
'C'mon, let's have some fun!' She already slurred her words, and pulled my arm, trying to make me come on the dance stage.
I moved my head out of her face, her breath stunk of alcohol. 'No thanks, I'll stay here for the rest of the night ok? Don't go off with anyone else.'
She rolled her eyes, and strutted to the dance floor and within seconds a boy started dancing with her.
I raised my head and observed my surroundings. On a small platform was a bunch of drunkies dancing to songs that barely made sense, on a couch were couples making out, in a corner was the football boys trying to see who can fit the most pizza tots in their mouths, and right in front of me was Alec staring into my balls of sight.
I jumped. And accidentally knocked the punch bowl off the small table, which then would have hit my foot if I hadn't moved it out of the way, but because I moved out of the way so quickly, I twisted my ankle, and I fell right into Alec.
But because Alec was so ungentleman-like, he moved out of the way, so I fell face down on to the wooden floor.
Which had glass shards all over it from the broken punchbowl.
Then my waterbottle fell on my head and I passed out.
