Third Pov
Sena, Laura, and Sabrina were happily walking while Jin was struggling to carry a large bag filled with groceries behind them.
"Way to go, Jin. Going around with three girlfriends. What a lady's man." A man said to Jin as the girls passed by.
"Oh no. It's not like that," Jin says. "We're just getting groceries." The bag of groceries began to tip over, and Jin caught it before all the food fell out. "That was close."
He continued walking as Sena turned back to look at him and then at Laura. "I think maybe we should help him carry the load." She suggested.
Laura shrugs her shoulders. "Oh, don't worry. He's the one who suggested the loser from rock-paper-scissors carry the load."
Peynet, Draka, and Piplup agreed, but Sabrina felt bad for Jin. She turned around and walked over to him. "Hey, Sabrina, where are you going?" Laura asks.
Sabrina walked up to Jin and grabbed the large bag from him.
"W-what are you doing?" He asked, surprised.
"Carrying the load for you. You looked like you were having trouble and could use a break." Sabrina said and began to walk while carrying the bag. Jin stood frozen for a second before running to catch up. Up ahead, Jin saw a boy with peach skin, grey eyes, turquoise hair, eyeglasses, a black shirt with yellow sleeves, a turquoise vest with a yellow diamond pattern, a red bow with silver button, black pants, and turquoise-white shoes. His head was down, and he looked sad.
"Isn't that Kay?" Jin asks, and the group walks over to him.
"Hi, Kay," Laura says.
"What's wrong? Why do you look so down?" Jin asks.
"It's nothing," Kay said, looking away from them.
"Dra!"
"What?" Kay asked, not knowing what Draka was saying.
"He's just asking where your monster is," Sena told him.
Jin realized that Kay didn't have his monster with him. "Oh yeah. Where did Zero go?" Kay began to cry as he told them what happened.
"What! Zero ran away!" They all said, and Sabrina placed the large bag down.
"Piplup?"
"He's asking why Zero ran away," Sabrina translates.
"Well, you see. Last time is when we lost to Mark..."

Three Days Ago: After Kay's Race With Mark
Kat was sitting frustrated on the stands with Zero standing next to him.
"Zero," Zero says sadly, and Kay turns to him. "Zero, zero, zero!" Zero said, trying to encourage Kay that they would beat Mark next time.
"You think we'll win next time?"
"Zero." Zero nodded.
Kay then got angry. "How are we supposed to know that? Get out of here, you good-for-nothing monster, and don't come back ever!"
Kay's sudden realization caused Zero's face to made a look of surprise. Zero then made a crying look as he slowly stepped back and ran away.
"Zero... Zero!" Kay shouted, but Zero kept on running.
