The day Teja told Karan about her dad turned out to be a long night for him. Firstly it was the first time he was seeing her cry , which saddened him.
At the same time he was overwhelmed to see her open up. 
He knew that Teja was really sensitive towards her dad's topic but still she trusted him and told him how she felt. This was something which he always wished for but never believed it happening in reality. 
There was no denial to the fact that Karan liked her, he liked spending time with her, he cared for her and would also get upset if someone else came inbetween their time. This was no longer a normal crush and he accepted it to. 
Also the trust Teja showed in him , by letting her feelings out infront of him made Karan think that maybe there was a chance.
The next morning Karan woke up, but couldn't find Teja anywhere, so he went to his mom and asked,
"Mom did you see Teja , she is not in her room."
"She left early morning, you were asleep so she asked us not to disturbe you. She didn't even had her breakfast."
"Okay...let me call her" 
.........
"She is on some other call" Karan said with disappointment.
"She will call you later , now have your breakfast."
"I will take a shower first". Karan said and left.

Teja reached her home took a shower and called Ananya. 
Though Teja knew that Ananya was kind of shipping her with Karan, still she decided to call her. She was the closest to her , and Teja could not think of anyone else with whom she could talk.
"Good morning Anuu.. " Teja said cheerfully, in an attempt to hide her nervousness.
"Good morning Teju, I hope everything is fine."
"Ofcourse everything is fine, I was just missing you. "
"Now I am sure that something is definitely off . Spill the beans Teja."
"You just cannot digest me talking to you lovingly right."
Ananya chuckled and said, "yes I cannot."
"You were awake or did I disturbe your sleep"
"I woke up a few minutes ago, I am a married girl you know, I have a lot of work to do. Anyways what about you."
"I wanted to talk to you about something" Teja said nervously.
"Yeah I know that, and why do you sound as if you messed up something."
"Actually I stayed at Karan's house last night."
"Umm.....do you me want to read inbetween the lines and think that you guys slept......"
"Do not even try to complete your sentence." Teja said exasperated.
"Okay fine I'm sorry. But why did you stay at his place."
Teja told Ananya the entire thing which led to her staying at Karan's house.
"Hmm....okay , I just hope that this is not the reason why you are worried,because it's quite normal. His parents were at home , they asked you to stay, you were in the guest room, so nothing to worry about."
"This is not the reason"
"Then?"
"I.... I told him about my dad."
"Like everything?"
"Hmmmm"
"Okay, not really normal considering it was you who did it." 
"Exactly, I can't believe that I told him everything." Teja said with a sigh.
"Teju, I get that it is not normal for you, but it is not wrong either. He is a close friend, and if you felt like sharing something with him , it's completely fine."
"But isn't it way to soon Anu, we know each other hardly for five months, and I literally cried my eyes out infront of him. I am feeling so weird , I don't know how will I even face him."
"Why ? Did he react in some strange way"
"No , not at all. He was really nice, he was just sitting by my side listening to me patiently , said a few words and that's it. He reacted exactly how I wanted him to react. I don't know how he does all this, as I said our friendship is hardly five months long but still he understands me so well"
"Teja , the depth of a bond does not really depends on the time for which we have known that person. You took years to tell me about it but you were also a different person back then, we were young, so you took your own time ,but now you have grown, you know whom to trust and whom to not. We learn. So it's okay if you told him early, it's okay if he entered your close circle this soon. You are not wrong in letting it happen ."
"Hmm ....yeah I think you are right. I was just thinking a lot about it."
"Teju can I be honest with you."
"Please be."
"Teju the things I said now is because I know that you see him as a friend, but to be honest, I think that you really like him. Please don't try to hide your feelings."
"I guess honesty is not always the best policy " Teja said and chuckled.
"Teja your feelings are not a joke "
"What feelings?" 
"Teja, why are you so stubborn." Ananya said with annoyance.
Teja sighed and said, "Anu okay let's assume that I like him and he likes me to, and then?. You know how things get complicated after people get into a relationship. Me and Karan are just too different to be together, it is not possible" 
"Say him the same thing when he will propose you okay."
"Come out of your fairyland yaar Anu. He is a friend, a really close one , but nothing changes the fact that he is Karan Kundrra. His ex is one of the most successful girl out there, and you think he will propose me ."
"We will see" Ananya said with confidence.
"Fine. "
"Okay Teju bye , I need to go."
"Bye, thank you and love you."
"Love you a little less today because of your stubborn attitude but anyways bye and have a good day."
"You to."
"She is a really sweet girl, a very well behaved and a well brought up girl. Even your dad likes her a lot. "
Karan's mom was saying this to her daughter Kirti on a video call.
"It looks like you like her a lot to." Kirti said
"I love her. "
"Whom?" Karan asked as he came after taking a shower.
"Your new friend, Teja. Mom is all praises for her."
"She deserves it all. By the way, she is not a new friend, it's been almost five months that I know her."
"So when are you planning to introduce her to me."
"Whenever you say."
