As several days go by, I get closer and closer to Kipper and Jamis seems to distance himself from me more. I also trained with Aidan, learning about spells that can reflect, negate, and protect me from dark magic. As for my brothers, I haven't heard much from them since we have become busy. We're still close, just do not have time to sit down and chat about our days. Blazer helps Cade with his experiments. Little Ragire is learning self-control with the Royal family. And right now, I am out to get something to eat.
"Hey, Radiant!" A familiar voice sounded. And I see, Kipper, running up to me. "Glad I caught on you." He's sweaty, probably from running, but I'm impressed he's not heaving for air.
"Did you need something?" He raises his brow.
"Are you ill or forgot about what we talked about yesterday?"
I relived our evening yesterday.
-FLASHBACK-
We're sitting in a field of grass, telling each other about ourselves. "I am an Astral of Creation. And I do not try to use it." He laughs recalling something, "Momma asked me to create fodder for our livestock." He snickers, "And I end up creating a stack of walking and talking hay!"
I laugh, "Well, I never actually tried to know what magic I could do when I was young, I just helped my father plant crops."
"Woah, at least you did a better job at it."
"Well, at first I ended up dumping the seeds in one go, not understanding what my father was trying to imply. He just laughed at my efforts." I sigh in relief. "Those were the days."
"Hey, what do you think about lunch? Just me and you?" Is he...
"Are you asking me for a date?"
His eyes widen, "If that's what you want to think then, yeah?" He chuckles, he looks so handsome when he laughs, "Sooooo, do you want to or..?"
"Oh! I-I do want it!"
"Alright, I'll meet you by the Townsquare at the 12th hour." He left me and I stare one last time at the view in front of me before I left to continue my training.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
"Oh! Sorry, I must have forgotten since I have been doing a lot of training." I scratch my head.
"It's fine, at the very least your mentor told me." He offers his elbow. "So, shall we?" I slid my arm on his. And we walk through the crowds. This is too close! A few commoners are looking at us and smiling. Some whisper, 'such a cute couple.'
"Is it hot today, or is it just me?" I must be blushing so hard right now.
Kipper laughs, "You look cute when you're flustered." I'm getting butterflies in my stomach and my heart is pounding!
