When the team natsu sees the huge amount of Alvarez soldiers surrounding their guild, Erza told them that they needed some plan on which Natsu states that their comrades are also on their way back to the guild. Gray then challenges Natsu into who can be the one that will defeat Zeref which boosts the pink haired boy as they all charges head on to the soldiers unleashing all their attacks on them. When suddenly eight dragons rises from the ground as the Historia of God Serena appeared in the battlefield, upon attacking them God Serena's attack got splits as a loud crash were heard with the ground and his magic crashes. Gildarts appeared in sight stating that he was hungry and wanted to return back to their guild before he goes to hugs his daughter as Cana told him that the battle are still on going. 
The two began to clash as the other Spriggan also make their move on the battlefield as another comrades on Ishgar arrives, Minerva among one of those told Yukino to find Neinhart and stops him from his summoning the undead. From the hillside, Invel glared on everyone as he readied himself to make a move on Ishgar. 
Mavis struggles in pain as Irene began to remove the Fairy Heart on her immortal body, Zeref watched the girl in pain as he states that he doesn't want to see her in pain on which Irene told him that he wouldn't manage to defeat Zeref with that attitude as the man agreed on her before taking his leave. Neinhart then appears after the black wizard left as he told the Scarlet Despair that he located the scarlet mage, Erza which Irene ordered him to kill her before enchanting his body. The battle continue as Natsu and the others encounter more soldiers and proceed to attacking them with a roar when suddenly his body froze as well as everybody except for Gray as ice covered them all. Invel arrived at the scene and Gray tried to attacked him but got blocked as the Winter General told him that his ice can't defeat his own winter. As the two fought with each other, Gray used his Ice Devil Slayer magic which shocked his opponent before he slashes on Invel. Invel was impressed at it and states that Gray's  darkness will starts to consume him but Gray silenced him by saying that he will do whatever he needs to protect his family as the others break free from the ice. Brandish who made herself big took both Natsu and Lucy and drags them away as Invel turned on the two Fairytail mages that was left. 
Akari runs around and fight some soldiers, she panted heavily as she looks around taking the huge amount of Alvarez army on the battlefield. She began to worry on everyone and was about to run again when she heard someone's voice she followed it quietly as the voice seems familiar with her. 
“ I need to go to the others.. but given my position it would be impossible to reach them..” 
Akari looks down on the edge of the cliff and sees something that she didn't expect she would see, Mavis who's standing at the edge stiffened when she feel someone's presence and close her eyes before she slowly looked up. Mavis eyes widen when she saw someone above her looking down on her while holding out their hand for her to grab on. 
“ I can take you to them..” 
“ Akari!” 
On the battlefield, Droy fell on the ground as he can't move his body from the exhaustion while Jet told him to stand up. The Alvarez army starts heading out to them but Gajeel suddenly appeared out of nowhere and help them defeat the soldiers but he stiffened as some soldiers appear behind him. A slashing sound were heard as Pantherlily arrives glad to see his partner again, the iron dragon slayer then looks to the side where the blue haired girl, Levy stood who's looking at him with tears on her eyes before he got kicked on his jaw by the girl. Zera who's hiding commented something on which the others heard as the voice seems familiar to them, Gajeel told them that she is the first master's friend though they got shocked when Zera's body began to fade as the girl told them that Mavis must have starting to remember her. 
“ A girl's voice told everyone to gather here?” Mavis asked while staring at the girl as Akari nodded her head as both of them sat down on some rocks. 
“ Yes first master, also that voice was the one who triggered something on my mind and made me remember everything and everyone in Fairytail that Irene had locked away” Akari said as the blonde girl observed her figure who's looking down on the ground, the girl the quickly looks up when she remember something. 
“ You shouldn't let yourself be captured again first master, Zeref already has my light magic and if he manages to get a hold of the Fairy Heart he will be unstoppable” the girl said before standing up as Mavis blinks a little breaking her in trance as she just got reunited with Zera on her mind. 
“ I will take you to them first master and I'll try to buy us some time with Zeref until Natsu and the others came” Mavis eyes widen at it as she also stood up and look at her. 
“ But Akari that's suicide! Zeref can kill you!” she said as Akari turned to look at her before smiling a bit, there's some warmth feeling inside her knowing that at least someone still cared about her. 
“ I'll be fine first master.. besides the only way to kill me is by something that is pure and hasn't tainted with darkness. I have the God of Lights magic but still it can't kill me as it was tainted with dark magic and also Zeref couldn't kill me as his magic are not pure light” she said as Mavis have some tears on her eyes before she lifted her hands and something appeared on it making Akari's eyes widen. 
“ This is the flowers that you made back then on Tenrou Island and put on the grave, i always had it in me and makes me remember the kid back then who runs away when Makarov told them that my ghost are in there” Mavis said while chuckling a bit as Akari felt her cheeks reddened at the memory. The small girl walks closer to her and put the light flower on her wrist as Akari stared at it. 
“ I'm giving it back to you not because i don't want it anymore but because i believe in you and that no matter what happen even with the darkness inside you, you're still a member of Fairytail..” she said to the girl as Akari was stunned on what she said, tears started to appear on her eyes as it rolled down on her cheeks before a sob escape from her.  Everyone's faces appears on her mind as the happy memories played on it, Mavis has a soft smile on her face while staring at the crying girl in front of her. The girl knew the hardships she had encounter in life starting from when she was a child, from everyone being gone for seven years and now this.. being controlled by Zeref and made her fight with her own family. Some tears rolled down her cheeks while staring at Akari who's now sobbing loudly in front of her before she takes her in for a hug.
