Enid's POV:
It had been a week since Wednesday's breakdown. She was still worried for the girl she loved. She was out in Jericho currently, said she was looking for some new clothes, and insisted she not help. Wednesday wanted it to be a surprise. She texted Wednesday "meet me on the balcony when you're back?" Wednesday replied "ok." She was always dull with her texting.

Wednesday's POV:
When wednesday got that text, she smiled. Actually smiled. She tried to be dull over text, she didn't want to put too much personality into it. But nonetheless she was exited. Exited to see Enid again.

A few hours later:

Enid's POV: she was waiting on the balcony, when she saw the door open from the window. It was Wednesday, with two large bags presumably filled with clothes. She called out through the open window "hi wens! Come out here?" Wednesday nodded, and climbed through the window to meet her. Enid cautiously took both of Wednesday's hands, but Wednesday didn't object. Enid breathed deeply. She said "Wednesday, I've wanted to say this for a while but... I like you. More than a friend, and ever since I went back with you for the summer, my feelings have only grown and- Wednesday, will you go out with me?"

Wednesday's POV:
She was stunned. Enid had just asked her out. Enid. The prettiest girl she had ever seen. Asked her out. Her. Her mind was going at a million miles an hour. After a moment she was snapped back into reality "wens?" Wednesday looked down at their hands, and back up into Enid's. She had an idea. "Close your eyes." Enid looked at her questioningly "I don't see how that answers my-" Wednesday cut her off "close your eyes now." Enid nodded and closed her eyes. Wednesday held the blonde's face in both her hands and brought her face down a bit, before she pressed her lips against Enid's.

Enid's POV:
Oh my god. Wednesday had just kissed her. Her eyes shot open, only to see wednesdays eyes closed. She tilted her head a bit, cupped Wednesday's face, and closed her eyes again. She relished in this moment. Wednesdays lips tasted like... her. Smokey, yet sweet. Wednesday pulled back, still holding her face, and stared deep into her eyes. Enid smiled. A big smile. "I-is that a yes?" Wednesday looked at her lips again, before glancing back up. She smirked. A snarky smirk. The kind that fitted her so well. Wednesday started to pull away but Enid wrapped an arm around her waist and pecked her lips one last time, before they both headed back inside, faces completely red.

Enid's POV:
"So." Enid said. "About those clothes you got?"
Wednesday nodded and laid out all the clothes she got. Mostly oversized jackets, and a pair of boots. But one thing stuck out. Two small jewelry boxes. "What are those?" Enid asked. Gesturing to the boxes. Wednesday took one and gave it to her. She opened it, and inside was a small ring. On it, Her name was engraved on it. Wednesday opened hers and her name was engraved on it. Enid smiled. "These are... perfect." Wednesdays was pure black, and hers gold. It fit on her ring finger perfectly. She opened her arms, and wednesday hugged her back. "Hey Wednesday?" She asked "yes, Enid?"

Nobody's POV:
Enid looked down at Wednesday's lips before back into those dark eyes "what did my lips.. taste like?" Wednesday contemplated the question for a moment before looking back up "like something sweet. Like cotton candy. I enjoyed it." Enid smiled. "Yours tasted Smokey." Wednesday sat down on her bed, and Enid did the same. She looked over at Wednesday, and she held her hand. Wednesday turned her head towards Enid. She held her chin and pulled her in for another kiss, this time, she pressed a little harder. Enid smiled into the kiss. They parted after a moment and smiled. Wednesday then did something she didn't even expect. She stood up briefly and then sat down and straddled Enid's lap, facing towards the flushed girl. "I-" Enid choked out before she felt Wednesday's lips against hers again. Wednesday smiled. Really smiled. Her black lip stick mixing with Enid's pink. They held that kiss for as long as possible, before Enid pulled away, breathing heavily. She saw Wednesday smiling, and laughed softly. "You're so.. happy." Enid said. Wednesday nodded, still smiling. "It's getting late... think you can sleep, pretty girl?" Wednesday said, sliding off of Enid's lap. Enid sat there shocked for a moment before nodding and getting up "can I sleep in your bed too wens?" Wednesday had already gotten into her bed. She nodded, and lifted the blanket, inviting her in.  Enid smiled and climbed on on top of Wednesday, snuggling into her. Wednesday smiled and drifted off  to sleep.
