It had been a week since I had woken up, and every night that I close my eyes I see it all happen all over again. So, my nights were now spent roaming through the library by lamp light.
"Seori?"
I scream and throw the book I had in my hand at the person that had popped up behind me. 
"Hey!" He yelled as he just dodged the flying book. "Why did you do that?" Jake asked as he looked from the book back to me, his darks eyes wide with shock.
"You scared me!" I didn't hear anyone come in, I was lost in my own world.
"Sorry." Is all he said as he went and retrieved the poor book. "Why are you in here so late though?" 
"Can't sleep." I shrug as I take the book from him, I was just returning it to its shelf when he had almost gave me heart failure.
"So, you spend your time in here? What are you looking for?" He strolls over to my side and looks over the books, all the titles were related to topics about dragons. "Dragons?" 
"I'm trying to gather as much information as I can about them." 
"What are you planning?" He turned to me, I could see a bit of concern in his eyes. 
"Why are you looking at me like that?" 
"Like what?" He looked away for a second and shook his head before turning back to me. 
"As if I'm about to up and run away..." 
"Are you?" 
I was a bit hurt by the way he asked that, why would I just up and leave after everything.
"I was planning on asking you in a month or so if you would like to help me find as many last living dragons as we can, I think it would be a great idea to locate and keep an eye on all the dragons left in the kingdom, maybe try and help bring the population back up..." 
"Oh." 
I let out a snort, did he still not trust me fully? 
"I don't know how many times I have to say or prove it, but I will not be leaving any of you behind willingly... You guys are my family now." 
"I'm sorry... I just need to learn to trust you, you've done nothing wrong."
"Exactly, so stop being so cautious around me. I'm not a bad person."

"I have a question?" 
I hum as I look away from my book, it was the next night and the king had joined me in the library once again.
"When was the last time you had a full night sleep?" 
"The night before all that happened." I reply quickly, I didn't want to think about the fact that even though Gyu was dead, he was still tormenting me. 
"That's it." He stands up and marks his book before taking mine and doing the same. 
I look from the books to him with a raised brow.
"You're getting some sleep." He then grabs my hand and the lamp, pulling me out the room and down the hall. 
I don't pull away, I didn't know what he was thinking about that would help me sleep, but I would let him try. I really did want some real sleep. 
"Where are we going?" I ask as we pass my room, I think a bed maybe required to get some good sleep.
"My room." He replied casually.
I say nothing just widen my eyes a bit, what was this boy thinking? 
"Lay down." He says as he pushes me towards the bed. 
I look from the bed to him. 
"Just lay down." 
"You better not try any funny stuff, sir." I warn while pointing at him. 
He let out a laugh as he went to the other side and pulled the blanket back. "I just want you to get some good rest." 
I let out a sigh as I give in and lay down, only becoming stiff when he scooted closer and pulled me into his side. 
"Relax." He said quietly as he pushed my head to rest in the crook of his neck. 
I let a breath out as I let my body relax. A part of me thought maybe the kings feelings that he showed before were only because I was going to die, and maybe that had all changed now that I was back. Now, I was letting myself hope that he really did feel some type of way towards me. 
"Do you really want my help and finding dragons?" He asked after a while of silence. 
"Why would I say it if it wasn't what I really wanted?" 
He let out a laugh as his hand went to me hair where he softly started to play with it. 
"So, you think you can put up with me annoying you for even longer?" 
"You've made it this far without me killing you, I think you're good." 
"You're so charming, Seori." 
"I know." I say with a bright smile before tucking my face into his side again. "Good night."
"Good night." He replied squeezing me a little closer.

Would anyone like me to maybe make a part 2? It would be started after this one is polished up, which I will be starting in about a week. I already started another book... sorry.
When I get good ideas I have to start with them or they will be forever lost in my mind bc I forget things very easily..
This new book as of right now is called Half Breed... It has Heeseung in it, idk if the others will be in it yet or not, if they are it will be brief moments. Anyways, Heeseung is a fae prince his soulmate is a half fae half human who hates her fae side as well as all other fae bc they are snotty ppl who tried to kill her and killed her mom... blah blah. Don't ask me the main plot yet, it's still brewing. I have a few parts of it done already but I won't post it until I get about 10-15 done so I have the bases laid out for it. As i'm writing it I will be fixing this one.
This note if getting long...
Oh and I will be fixing my book called Feather. It's a Ateez fanfic, it's got about as many parts as this book but it's way worse then this one. 
If you have any suggestions lmk, if you see something in here you don't like lmk, I don't mind constructive criticism it helps me become a better writer bc as we can see i am not the best. 
Anyways... Thank you all for sticking with Rough I actually like this book, this is the first one I have ever finished out of the 70  i've tried to write over the years. So this book will always mean something to me no matter if I feel like it's not the best, it's still a good start to me. One step at a time I remind myself, no two writers are the same as well as writing style and talent. In the end we all do hard work and it will pay off one day. 
If you like this one maybe watch out for more of my books coming up, I have a few drafts I have waiting on me, I just don't post until I have a good base with them bc I work and my schedule is always so slammed pack and I hate making ppl wait long for an update... like I did with this book lol..
