Chapter 47: Falshback

                                    

                                          
3 Person POV
It's been a few weeks since Christmas and the men are going back on tour soon. They have two more weeks before their first concert in London. So about a week before they need to start preparing and getting ready for rehearsals and stuff. 
Everything has been smooth. Nothing bad has happened over the past few weeks.
The men had played with the girl as much as they can as well as being in video calls with Simon, as they were preparing for the next leg of tour, as well as the music they still need to finish. 
A few days ago it snowed and Hazel was in love, the men had taken her out to a park with a hill to go sledging, since the snow was high enough cause usually it isn't. The snow melted fast and now it was just a normal rainy day in the UK. 
Hazel was reading one of her new space books she got for Christmas, enjoying the item a lot. 
"We live on a small, blue planet called Earth." Hazel began reading. "It has a surface of liquid water and rock, and is sur-round-ed surrounded" Hazel spelled out the long word. "By a blanket of air called the at-mo-? I can't say that word" Hazel huffed to herself not being able to read the word 'atmosphere'. 
Hazel climbed off her bed and went to go and find one of her dads. They would know what the word says. As she left her room, she heard someone speaking downstairs, so she decided to go down. 
As she went down the voice got louder and louder. 
"WE CAN'T DO THAT!!" Zayn yelled to Liam. 
"OH YEAH? WELL WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO? HUH?" Liam yelled back. 
At that moment Hazel froze in fear, and started to shake, silent tears making its way down her cheeks. As Liam and Zayn were arguing in front of her unaware of her entrance.
It wasn't until Harry came down to tell them to stop arguing, Harry noticed the girl trembling in fear. 
"Cupcake? Are you okay?" Harry asked, catching Liam and Zayn's attention, as they felt so guilty as they didn't know she was there. 
Hazel didn't answer. She didn't hear. She didn't see. It's all black, until she sees her mum and dad. 
Flashback 
"I SAID GO AND GET THE DRUGS!!" Hazel's mum, Linda, screamed to her dad, Micheal. 
"I CAN'T I'M WATCHING THE FOOTBALL!!" Micheal screamed back from his chair drinking another bottle of beer. This is his 6th one today and it's only 1pm.
"WELL I CAN'T GO!! YOU KNOW HE WILL BEAT THE CRAP OUTA ME!!" Linda screamed back, walking towards the living room towards the father and then both going at it. Throwing fists and screaming at each other. 
Hazel was only 4 years old at the time and was quietly playing in the corner of the room with two small pebbles she found outside and took in with her secretly. She looked up and saw the two and started to cry, not wanting to see them fight, though she sees it often.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU LITTLE SHIT!!" Both her mum and dad had screamed, throwing her into the basement of the house. 
And it all goes black! 
Flashback ends
"Hazel... hear... can... please?" Hazel faintly heard someone who sounded a lot like Harry talking. But she couldn't see him or make out what he was saying. 
"Baby, Shh your o... you'll be alr..." Hazel started to get her vision back but it was still kind of blurry. About a minute later her vision started to focus and she noticed that her back was against Harry's chest. Liam and Zayn in front of her and Louis and Niall further back watching on with tears in there eyes. 
"...me? Can you hear me Hazel?" Harry asked until he felt her nod. "I- I can he-hear you." Hazel said weakly still crying and confused on what had happened. 
"Lou can you get a bottle of water for her please?" Harry asked as he was the closest to the kitchen. 
"Yeah." Louis said walking into the kitchen. 
"Thanks, you okay baby?" Harry asked, directing his attention back to the girl. 
Harry was shocked. He saw the girl on the verge of what looked like a panic attack and she just started to fall back, fainting. 
Harry quickly took a hold of her trying to wake her up, feeling her pulse and doing everything he can to find out what's wrong. 
"Mmhm" Hazel said nodding her head. To be honest she wasn't sure if she was okay or not. She was just as confused. This has never happened to her before, except in her dreams, but she was wide awake this time.
Louis came back with a bottle of water and gave it to Harry who helped her drink, Hazel feeling to weak. 
After Hazel drank about half the bottle, still laying on Harry's chest, Harry decided it was time to ask. 
"Cupcake? Call you tell me what happened?" Harry asked calmingly, wanting to know as much as possible to try help her but not wanting to scare her so much. 
"I- I was reading my book and couldn't read a word so I was going to find someone to help." Hazel started to explain, having a cough to clear her voice at the beginning. "I heard someone that sounded like Daddy Li downstairs so I was gonna ask him how to read the word. Then when I got downstairs him and Daddy Z were shouting then- then I don't know what happened." Hazel admitted weakly. "I couldn't hear or see them anymore, but instead it was my old mum and dad, and they were arguing, and shouting then they started fighting. I'm scared." Hazel ended off hugging into Harry. Sobbing loudly unable to control herself. 
"It's okay to be scared princess." Harry started off. "Just know that we won't hurt you and your mum and dad will never see you again. Just let it out." Harry said rocking her back and forth as Hazel's crying started up again. 
"So she had a flashback?" Niall quietly asked to which Harry nodded. 
It took almost half an hour to calm her down but it's alright. They all stayed beside her and hugged her close. 
"I'm sorry we scared you sunshine." Liam apologised, him and Zayn both feeling terrible about being the cause of the flashback. Especially since the argument was over something so small and stupid. 
"I'm sorry too petal." Zayn said, expressing his guilt. 
Hazel got up and out of Harry's chest and went over to where Liam and Zayn sat on the floor, once she got to them she gave them both a big hug, them doing the same, while kissing her on the head. 
Harry, Niall and Louis, took this as there queue to leave the three and let them cuddle. 
Hazel stayed cuddling them for another half hour until she remembered the whole reason she came down. 
"Daddy Li, Daddy Z? Can you help me with the word I was stuck on?" Hazel asked sweetly. Rubbing her eyes from any leftover tears. 
"Of course princess. Go get your book and we'll help." Liam said, Hazel immediately getting her book. 
"This word!" Hazel said. 
"That word is 'atmosphere'" Zayn said and he and Liam helped the girl with some words and explaining what they meant if she didn't know, while she read the book, knowing to never argue in front of the girl, ever.
