I unlocked the front door and flopped straight on the sofa, head facing down. I'm absolutely exhausted from avoiding a talk with Jeongin. I'm overly disturbed by my introverted self feeling embarrassed to even see him.

"Yeon, avoiding him won't help, just see him for god's sake," Chaeyoung said as she took a seat beside me, me still not looking up.

"No Chae," I mumbled, "I just need some time to get ready for a one-to-one talk alone."

"Yeonnie, I can lend you a helping hand if you want."

Yeonnie? Only one person calls me by that name. I finally lifted my body, glancing up to see the one and only Jiwoo having Raeji unnie beside her.

"Unnie!"

I engulf them in a big hug. Realizing that I left Chaeyoung out, I immediately brought her over to hug my three besties. After a while, I released the three breathless girls and flopped back down on the sofa.

"How did you guys come in?"

"Through the front door?" Raeji says in a puzzled tone.

"I know unnie, but how?" I roll my eyes at her.

"Did you literally forget you gave me a pair of spare keys in case you forgot to bring them?"

"No?" I try hard to recall that memory. I've been so distracted by school and Jeongin that I never seem to remember anything that happened in my life before uni. But it was mainly because I wanted to get the thought of Hajoon off my mind.

"You scatterbrain." Unnie ruffles my hair, making it messy. I back away so her hand is now off my head.

"You guys love making me feel like a child." I cross my arms and made a pounding face. Even though Jiwoo and Chaeyoung were born in the same year as me, I'm still the maknae of us four.

My mood escalated quickly thanks to the three. I miss the old days when Raeji unnie had still gone to school. We would joke around and gossip about teachers and classmates.

Well, that was not till Hajoon came into my life. The things he did to me, I could never forget.

5 years ago____________

"Seoyeon!" Raeji unnie ran towards me, strangling me with her hug.

"Unnie, Seoyeon is not ready to die yet." Jiwoo laughs as she pulled me away from unnie's grip.

Hajoon, a senior the same year as Raeji, walks past us plastering a smile while laying his eyes on me. I return the smile as I felt butterflies rush in my stomach.

"Ya, Seoyeon did you see that? Hajoon, he just smiled at you." Chaeyoung giggled, pushing me back and forth.

"Oh my god, stop guys." My smile wouldn't leave, and so did the stares from the corridor.

For a first, my crush noticed me. It was one of the happiest days of my life.

3 month later

"You guys need to stop," Chaeyoung said in a disguised voice.

"Then date someone, I'm sure you have many suitors at school," I whisper the last bit to her ear causing her to slap me on the arm.

"Okay, we'll stop flirting with each other," Hajoon said and looked at his watch.

"I have work to do babe, I'll see you tomorrow." He grins and gives me a peck on the cheek. I wave and watched him leave the classroom.
