She was sobbing.
She was clammy, she was throwing up, and she had a fever of 103, and her father was nowhere to be found.
Her side was completely killing her, and her chest was burning, which let me believe two things. Either her appendix was near burst, or she had pneumonia.
"Baby, you have to breathe," I softly said, holding her up over a trash can. "Nurse, please page Hood. Right now."
"Yes, sir."
"I–I'm trying, Luke!" she sobbed, holding herself over the toilet. I felt myself becoming panicked like I was helping my own daughter in this situation.
"What's going on?" Calum rushed in, falling onto his knees and trying to see what was wrong with London, "She's clammy. Come on, let's get her to the bed and on fluids."
Soon after we stopped her from throwing up, we put her on the bed and put an IV in with fluids. She was running a high fever and was complaining of being cold.
"We need to check her appendix scans and chest x-rays now. Are the x-rays finished yet?" Michael quickly asked.
"I'll go check," a female nurse said, rushing out of the room.
"I can't help right now," I said, feeling myself becoming dizzy. "I need Ashton to fill in for me. I'm going to pass out."
Calum's face went pale. "Someone take Dr. Hemmings out and into his office. He needs a breather. The rest of you, help me wheel her to the CT room."

Never once in my life have I seen Luke so panicked, and pale. I knew the reason why though.
Luke took an interest in helping London since her father died and soon after her dad went crazy, he only wanted to help her in her recovery. He loved her like she was his youngest sister.
"What does the CT say?" I asked.
"Her appendix is nearly swollen so bad that it's about to burst," Dr. Kellins said, pointing to the obviously swollen appendix. "We need to get it out."
"We can't get permission." I rushed, "Her father isn't here."
"Well then," Dr. Kellins looked me in the eyes. "Get him here now. This young girl could die, so get his ass here now."
