TFP | Ultra Magnus X Wheeljack Pt. 2: I Love You, But...

Wheeljack tries to deal with sparkbreak, while Magnus realizes he loves Wheeljack, but there's a problem; he's not used to being in a relationship. 
While Ultra Magnus didn't report what happened to Optimus, he and Wheeljack struggle to be near each other. They know eventually Optimus will see something is going on, but neither has any idea how to deal with the situation.  
Though the two question if Optimus knows considering how Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead left the base with their charges. Optimus and Ratchet have a meeting with Fowler. Though Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack question if there's a meeting.  
Ultra Magnus still feels the effects of being drunk and lies on his berth, away from Wheeljack. He didn't think he'd end up in recharge. 
Wheeljack tries to distract himself from sparkbreak, but it's impossible. 
"Stupid me falling for the strictest mech more in love with rules. I need to figure out how to forget about the idea of the two of us being together before Optimus sees we can't be near each other without feeling awkward." 
Ultra Magnus is displeased with the dream he has. He onlines, questioning why the frag would be dreaming about Wheeljack. And not as in he's scolding the wrecker. As he's questioning why he'd have this dream, Magnus' spark feels weird. He doesn't think this is a serious health issue, nor does he want to talk about this with Ratchet. Magnus questions if his behavior last night wasn't entirely because he was drunk. He just made conversation with Wheeljack a lot harder since he scolded him. Add the awkward conversation. 
Wheeljack is bored and wishes he was called into battle, but that's not where the others went. So now the question is when will the others return? He tries to ignore the sound of peds getting closer to him. In no mood to talk to Magnus, who sits on the makeshift seat next to Wheeljack. 
"We need to talk," Magnus says. Wheeljack knows he'd piss off Magnus by refusing, "I am livid at you for taking advantage of me while drunk—." 
"You being drunk or even drinking is odd." 
"I don't know why I'd drink high grade — until my dream. I don't know if dreams tell us things, but the feeling in my spark I got while thinking about the dream... I think I was thinking I had to be drunk to tell you how I feel."
"But you forgot once you weren't drunk. I swear I was trying to get you to your berthroom." 
As the two sit in silence, the feeling Magnus had ten minutes ago returns, but stronger as he sits next to Wheeljack. 
"I think I was hoping to get drunk enough to tell you... I love you." 
Wheeljack knows Magnus wouldn't lie, but it's still strange to hear that Magnus loves him. 
He knows Magnus would still choose to hide this from the others for a while, or forever. 
Magnus isn't sure what else to say. 
"I know, sir, this is a secret." 
"I'm sorry, I'm not used to this. I'd rather keep this a secret for a while," Magnus is confident this won't mean the two can't be together alone. Hoping he can accept that everyone is going to have to know, "but I love you."
Wheeljack didn't think Magnus would kiss him on the dermas. Both of them look at each other with bright red on their faceplates. 
Not knowing how much time they'll be alone, Magnus agrees to watch T.V. with Wheeljack rather than the two going into one of their rooms. The two hope they won't keep this secret for long m, but Wheeljack will wait until Magnus is ready.
