Prologue

                                    

                                          
Walking happily at a crossroad was a 7 year old girl enjoying her vanilla ice-cream that she bought from the nice lady with an ice-cream stall. She was so focused on enjoying her ice-cream that she didn't see that there was a car coming her way. 
In a flash of a moment she felt herself being pulled back hitting something. She gasped when her ice-cream had fell from her hand. 
She turned around and was faced with a slightly tanned skin boy whose deep brown orbs was starring right back at the as if she had just done something to him. "You made me drop my ice-cream" she whined and he scoffed "You almost died and you worried about ice-cream! Learn to watch where you walking!". She started tearing and pouted, the 8 year old boy noticed and signed. "Fine come I'll buy you another one", "really" her eyes sparkled at him. 
She interwind her hand with his and dragged him to the ice-cream stall she was once at. The boy didn't know why but he felt like his heart did a flip. When they reached the stall he got her a vanilla ice-cream and a strawberry one for himself. They sat down at one of the benches at the park, she was happily eating her ice-cream. "What is your name?" She asked him, "Donghyuck", "mine is Ari" she smiled at him and he nodded. 
They sat in silence Ari thought for a while in her small innocent mind that she really wanted to be Donghyucks friend, she didn't really have any frineds besides Hanna, the girl from school. "Hyuck, can we be friends?" She stared at him with her deep black orbs. 
The boy was a bit taken from her question because no one really wanted to be his friend as they thought he was mean but she wants to be his friend. "Why don't you have friends?", she shook her head "not really". 
The boys thought for a while but agreed "okay" she smiled.

It's been 5 months since Donghyuck and Ari have been friends. They are really close to eachother, always meeting at the park to have playtime and talk about their day at school. Always sharing eachothers secrets. 
But one day Ari was told that she was moving away for her mother's job. She was really sad that she had to leave Donghyuck but she had no choice. When she told him they both we really sad that they cried. "Promise not to forget me hyuck" she showed him her pinky, "i promise" her wiped his tears with his hand and then interwind their pinky fingers. They hugged eachother tightly for one last time. 
Ari gave Donghyuck a kiss on the cheek and wiped away his tears with her small hands. "Don't cry hyuck we will meet again" she pouted, "i really like you Ari, I will wait for you to come back" she nodded and took out her heart pendant necklace and put it around his neck. He smiled "but this your favourite", " keep it for me the next time I see you, you can give it back for now keep it to remember me by okay Hyuck" he nodded. He thought of something and then took out the black chain he had that had his initials DH on it and put it around her neck. They both smiled and hugged for one last time. 
They then parted ways. They weren't sure if they would meet again but they had faith that destiny will let them.
