Aiden's POV:

"Their shifts end every second hour and 4 minutes," Shooter appeared from the trees again. "But they check in with walkie-talkies once when they've switched. So we'd have to catch them right after they use the walkie to cause the least amount of suspicion."

"Perfect," Snow was arranging weapons, "We'll go during the next switch. Chaos set a timer please."

Chaos listened, then continued to talk with the Captain.

It's been an hour since we arrived. There had been no more enemies in the woods, so we've been able to plot without setbacks. Captain was getting  ready to head towards the town, but he'd have to go by himself.

"Here's a taser just in case anyone mugs you," Chaos handed it to him, "And make sure you don't keep too much eye contact with people. It can make you look suspicious."

"Chaos," The Captain smiled, "Thank you, but I think I'll be fine."

He hesitated but nodded. The Captain had said his last goodbyes to us, giving us praise for what we did for a living, then started walking."

"Aiden," I turned around to look at the Captain one last time.

"Go for it. You never know when your next chance will be," Then he left.

I didn't understand what he meant. Nobody else was paying attention, so I pushed his words aside. Maybe it was for future reference?

"Push-up contest," Chaos poked Shooter's arm continuously.

"No."

"Scared? You 7-foot giant?"

"I have better things to do than beat you in a push-up contest. Ask Silence," Shooter smacked his finger from touching his arm.

Chaos turned around to start bothering Silence, but he was already glaring at Chaos. It looked as if he'd touch him, he'd snap his finger right off. So Chaos turned right back around.

"He doesn't want to. Please?"

Shooter sighed, "Longest handstand. That's the only thing I'll do."

Chaos smiled and nodded. They both walked over to an opening to stretch and talk smack.

"Do they do this a lot," I felt Silence watching them next to me. His slight huff of disapproval made me smile, knowing that the answer was a yes.

But we did have two hours to burn off, and there wasn't much we could do. Walking into the town would be too risky if there were spies undercover. Staying here and watching was the only safe option we had.

Silence took his book out of his bag and sat down under a tree. He ignored Chaos and Shooter chatting about rules easily.

"No messing with each other. Not on purpose at least," Chaos counted the rules with his hands. "As long as your feet don't go below your elbows, it counts. And you can't ask for help from anyone outside the game. Like tell Blondie to throw a rock at me, in which I'll kill him for."

I rolled my eyes at the threat, "Ready..."

They both got into positions.

"Set. Go."

Then they rose their legs into the air.

"Aiden," Snow called, "Can you give me a quick hand?"

I took my eyes off the competition, but Chaos yelled at me.

"You have to make sure Shooter doesn't cheat,"

"He should be more worried about you cheating," Shooter hissed.
