These past months you and Taehyung got very close with each other. You both used to hangout a lot and enjoy each others company.
Taehyung seemed to have open up to you while you were also comfortable with him. You realised he was not cold but just because of his strict parents and responsiblities, he was way too immersed in his studies that he doesn't like talking to others or making efforts to make friends.
But since he met you, you've been encountering his soft side for you. You were developing feelings for him while the same goes for him while your friends were happy to see you both falling in love.
On 30th December,
You, Jimin, Jungkook and Dahyun were preparing for Taehyung's birthday at Jungkook's house since you all planned to surprise him so you called him over for a sleepover to which he agreed.
In addition, you decorated the balcony of guest room as well because you were planning to confess your feelings today.
Your Pov,
Ah I'm nervous, will he accept me or reject me. I should focus on the positive sides more he will surely say yes. I should stay calm and not freak out. Fighting!!!
It was 10' o clock when the doorbell rang indicating Taehyung came. Jungkook went towards the door and open it. Both of them hugged each other and Taehyung enter inside as you and Dahyun greet him.
Jungkook went and started the movie while you guys sat at the couch with snacks and drinks. After some time Jimin also came since he was busy, so he came a bit late.
It was already 11:59pm so Jungkook suddenly asked Taehyung to bring blankets from the room. Taehyung stood up and went their while you guys went behind him snakingly.
As soon as he switched on the lights, he flinched hearing the voices behind him.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAEHYUNG" you all shouted in unison while he looked at your side and smiled showing his perfect set of teeth.
Thank you so much guys he said.
Okay now let's go and cut the cake Jimin said.
After cutting the cake and feeding each other, everyone gave Taehyung the gifts they bought for him.
Guys we should leave and resume the movie where we left, and Y/n please give Taehyung the gift you bought for him Jungkook said eyeing everyone to leave you two alone.
As soon as everyone left you held Taehyung's hand and took him upstairs with you where you had planned your little surprise while he was confused but still went with you without asking a question.
Taehyung's Pov
I don't know why she bought me here, but looking at the balcony decorated so beautifully made my heart dwell in happiness.
Taehyung, here's your gift, congratulations on turning a year older and a year wiser you said with a cute smile dancing on your lips.
He chuckled listening to you and replied, Thankyou, I guess.
Well Taehyung, I wanted t-to, you k-know it's y-your birthday so, your expressions were tensed showing clear nervousness while Taehyung was anticipating what you are going to say.
Don't be nervous Y/n he said which made you sigh.
Taehyung, I don't know how you will react but I don't want my words to affect our friendship.
Being with you I feel nothing but comfortable, your embrace feels like home to me. You took a deep breath and then continued I don't know how you feel about me, how you look at me, but to me I see you more than a friend now, I want to be with you for forever. I never knew when I fell for you, but now that I did, I never want to get up again.
