- autumn's pov - 
I walked out of Asher's house and got into Bailey's car. I moved some hair out of my face and felt her stare. I looked over to be greeted by Bailey's smile "Good morning" 
"Morning?" I cautiously asked, confused 
"You're glowing," she said, staring at me. I just moved my head to the side, getting a better view of her 
"What do you mean?" 
Bailey just shrugged and put the car into reverse to get out of his driveway "Maybe I'm wrong. How was your night?" 
I just shrugged back "Fun, long" I muttered with a laugh "How was yours? When did you go home?" 
"After a girl asked me out" Bailey sighed 
I looked over at her, surprised "Isn't that a good thing? We've been trying to get you a girlfriend forever!" 
Bailey shook her head "Nah this girl gave me a weird vibe, you know how it is" she just shrugged. I could tell she was disappointed. I was too- the number of people I've sworn their names for simply not being gay for Bailey. Fuck, I'd be gay for Bailey, she's my hero.
"Fuck that bitch, she was so into you- there's no way she 'has a boyfriend. Ugh, what a biiiitch" I said, pacing back and forth in our living room "I thought she was the one. The one." 
Bailey just smiled and watched me pace back and forth "Can't control who you like, that goes for straight people too" she shrugged at me. I stopped and looked at her "Whaaaat?"
"How are you okay?" 
Bailey just shrugged her shoulders again "You liked her more than I did. It's fine, we'll find me a girlfriend" 
"If no one becomes your girlfriend by the New Year, I'll ask you out" I mutter and go and sit next to her. "Wanna put on Titanic and make popcorn?" 
Bailey looked over at me and nodded "Sounds like a plan"
I sat quietly during the car ride home, thinking about many different moments. Bailey pulled into our neighborhood, causing me to pull my gaze from the side window and over at her "Do you have work tonight?" 
Bailey nodded and pulled into our driveway "Till 9" 
I tsked, rolling my eyes, "You mean we can't have a movie night?" I ask to confirm, turning my head to look directly at her 
"Nope, not tonight" She sighed, then noticed something. "Are those... hickeys?"
I try to look at my neck, then realized I couldn't see them anyway. Dumbass. I looked back at her "I guess they are" I sighed 
Bailey gasped and covered her mouth, exaggerating "Autumn? Allowing a guy to take his time? Allowing a mark? Allowing evidence?" 
I rolled my eyes "Okay, what do you mean?" 
"You never allow a guy to give you a hickey!" 
I just shrug at her, then move to open my car door "I didn't realize I guess" 
"Autumn. There are multiple" Bailey laughed, getting out of the car and meeting me at the front door
