Ch-27: Test

                                    

                                          

After classes ended you drove off to the training grounds which were for limited people only. You looked around in awe. To your surprise Snow was present too.
Snow: Since it's your first day of training I'm here to cheer you up, Juno.
Chan: Today we're going to see how much you know so I need all the members here. Get in the center, Juno. 
You did as he said.
Chan: You will have to show basic combat skills by sparring with the members. Who wants to go first?
Jisung: Hyunjin should go first since we need to start off easy.
Hyunjin: Tch! I'm sure Juno can take you down easily and you know it which is why you're scared.
Jisung: I'm not scared.
Hyunjin: Then prove it!
Jisung: Watch how it's done.
He came and stood in front of you.
Jisung: No need to be scared Juno. I'll go easy on you.
You weren't scared but you were hella nervous since you were up against extremely trained people. You realised how stupid and high on adrenaline you must've been when you squared up against Alpha Hongjoong. 
Jisung: Let's start with the basics.
He came behind you and put you in a chokehold.
Jisung: Let's see if you can get out of this. Go!
You tried to pull his arm which was around your neck to which he chuckled.
Jisung: Seriously, is that what you've learned?
Minho: This is definitely not what I expected, Juno.
Snow: You can give up if you can't do it.
You swung your arm to elbow him in the stomach but he blocked it.
Jisung: It is the most obvious trick people use to get out of-
While he was busy talking and forcing your elbow out you used that force to put strength in your fist and slammed your fist in his face while the other hand gripped his arm. He stumbled back while you twisted his arm which was around your neck, behind his back. You kicked the back of his knee which made him drop to the ground and harshly pulled his chin upwards. He tapped on the ground so you released him and you could see that he was breathing heavily.
Juno: Uh...sorry? Was I too harsh?
Jisung: Are you going to apologize to your enemy?
Juno: You're not my enemy.
Hyunjin: You were out clean in a few seconds.
Jisung: Well, why don't you go next?
Hyunjin shrugged and walked to stand in front of you.
Hyunjin: Well, how about we kiss first?
You raised your eyebrows at him.
Hyunjin: Just to get the adrenaline rushing through your veins. 
You made a mental note that Hyunjin worked like a siren. Smirking, you walked closer and put your hands on either side of his face. He panicked when you leaned in not expecting you to react like that. You took this opportunity to grab his head firmly and kick him in shin  stopping just before your knee could actually hit him. 
Hyunjin: Woah! My soul left my body for a second. Don't ever actually use that move on me. I'm still single.
Juno: I was aiming for your stomach.
You lied. 
On the other hand Chan knew Hyunjin wouldn't actually do it but panicked when you walked close to him. His tensed body relaxed after he realized you weren't actually going to kiss him.
Chan: Who's next?
Jeongin: Juno-2, members-0
Seungmin: Why don't you go next?
He chuckled and moved to stand in front of you.
Jeongin: Juno, please go easy on me. You don't want to hurt your best friend, right?
He flashed his usual sweet smile but you knew Jeongin was capable of more than what he showed. His usual sweet demeanor was a great advantage for him to hide his intentions when he is in a fight. Just as if on que, his smile disappeared and his crescent eyes turned back giving a strong glare asserting his dominance over his opponent.
Jeongin: Let's put our legs to use, shall we?
He charged at you by using a combination of different kicks in a fast motion which made it difficult for you to keep up. You kept stumbling back in an attempt to dodge his kicks. He performed a side kick but you crouched down and swept him off his feet making him fall to the ground. You got on top of him and choked him applying just enough pressure to prevent him from escaping. But you underestimated him as he took advantage of the lack of pressure and gathered his hands in a fist above his head. He swung his joined fists towards your hands making you break your hold on his neck. As soon as he was set free, he flipped you so now he was on top of you sitting on your stomach. He pinned your arms above your head restricting all your movements.
Jisung: Is it just me or is it getting hot in here?
Changbin: We are on an open training ground.
Jisung: Well, it's still getting hot.
Minho: Damn Jeongin, feeling too bold, are you?
Let's just say Chan trusted Jeongin whole heartedly but he didn't like the position you two were in despite knowing that this was combat training. Jeongin was on top of you, pinning your hands above your head and your faces were close and the boys' comments weren't helping either.
Jeongin smirked as you struggled beneath him.
Jeongin: Struggling, huh? Let's do this.
He let go of your hands and sat straight.
Jeongin: Now you can use your hands so try and escape.
You tried to lift your upper body as much as you could to get a hold of him but he just leaned back watching you with an amused grin.
Jeongin: Tiny arms? Or tiny body? Wait, it's tiny Juno.
He giggled making you irritated. You couldn't reach his head or his hands which were folded on his chest. You looked him in the eye and put your hands on his thighs. No doubt he was using his legs because they were pretty strong and solid. He arched an eyebrow at you.
Jeongin: What are you thinking, Juno?
Minho: You have a thigh kink?
Changbin nudged his stomach by his elbow and glared at him.
Minho: What?
You on the other hand were debating whether you should use your strength to your advantage. No, you can't hurt Jeongin like that and also saw Snow from the corner of your eye. You made your mind that you didn't want to let her know what you were capable of. So, you just tapped on Jeongin's thigh to let him know that you surrendered.
Jeongin: I didn't expect you to give in.
Hyunjin: Did Jeongin just win?
Jisung: Juno-2, members-1
You stood up and Jeongin was about to walk off but you stopped him. You tilted his head and observed his neck for any marks as you were afraid you might've applied a bit more pressure. But he smiled and caught your hand.
Jeongin: Don't worry, you hardly applied any pressure. Don't do that in a real fight though.
Minho: I'll go next!
