"Hey, where's Sayaka?" Mary asked the next afternoon.
"This morning we told everyone she was back, so she went down to meet them, they're all really happy that she's back," Ririka said. "Why?"
"Nothing," Mary said nervously. "I'll just wait for her then."
A few moments later, Sayaka came in, carrying many presents. Behind her, Kanako floated above the ground, using magic to levitate the remaining presents in the air.
"I'm sorry I'm late, there were just a lot of gifts," the Lady said as she put down her gifts, before being pulled into her wife's arms.
"Hm, I understand," the Queen said, pressing her lips to her wife's head.
After they pulled away, Ririka and Mary watched in awe as Kanako disappeared in a swirl of red butterflies.
The spot where Sayaka's heart was located glowed.
Mary's eyes widened. That was what she saw in the painting!
"Let's go, my love," Kirari cooed, gently pulling Sayaka along with her outside the castle. "If you'll excuse us, we'll be going on a date. I haven't seen you in a while, after all," she added, turning to her wife.

The rulers of The Celestial Reach sat under a Sugar Tyme Crabapple in the rolling hills near behind the castle.
Sayaka lay on Kirari's lap closing her eyes as her wife stroked her hair lovingly.
*Like this but the trunk of the tree is taller and there's no brown soil, it's covered by grass the yellow flowers like in the background*
A soft breeze blew, making the ribbon in the Lady's hair sway slightly.
'How annoying,' Kanako said in Sayaka's head.
'Now now, Kanako, it's quite nice,' Sayaka replied.
"Your right eye is red," Kirari commented. "Chatting with Kanako?"
Sayaka nodded, realising that her eyes had shot open when Kanako spoke in her head.
"How utterly fascinating," the Queen stated, kissing her wife's cheek tenderly.
Sayaka blsuhed, the blush spreading from the back of her neck to the tips of her ears and her cheeks.
Kirari threw back her head and laughed.
"You have no idea how much I missed seeing your expressive features," she said, chuckling.
"I missed seeing you too," her wife responded quietly, clutching her hand tightly.
Kirari hummed, moving her hand from stroking her wife's hair to wrapping her arm around Sayaka's waist comfortingly.

A few days later, Mikura suddenly rushed into the dining hall.
"Sachiko! Your majesties, the Tanukis are preparing for battle!" she exclaimed, her face full of terror.
Everyone froze. How was that possible?
The room became silent, except for Kanako's laughter which reverberated throughout the air.
"How funny," her voice said, coming from Sayaka's mouth, the Lady's right eye turned red once again. "That's good, I haven't fought in ages, never fought before, really. It's time Sayaka and I kill some intruders."
