Imlie put on a simple salwar kameez and rushed to the station—leaving a text for Arpita didi, so she could handle Ma properly and not overwhelm her with this information.

She assured her that nothing will happen to either of them—and they'll both be back home safely.

She reached the police station and once more went over everything, meeting the officers before sitting in the jeep...trying to reach Aryan's phone again.

It told her...it was beyond coverage area!

"Please...please let it just be the poor network!" She wanted to calm herself.

It was already 8 am now—and Imlie had willed for her breathing to become even...but had failed.

With a few hours to reach, Imlie had already called his secretary and asked for exact details of the location— and his whereabouts of the day as per his schedule.

He was supposed to visit the site in another hour.

She clasped her hands and begged Sita Maiyya so she could reach in time.

The officers were now busy discussing that Rathi sir, who was conducting the interrogation—had come close to getting a certain name—and was on the verge of finding out more!

As they rushed past the vehicles by the road, Imlie tried to tamp down her anxiousness by remembering how strong her akkadbaggha's punches were—having witnessed it herself, on many occasions.

He could definitely take care of himself.

Yes...he could. He definitely could.

Not that... anything was going to happen to him anyway.

He would be fine. Absolutely fine!

But she needed to see him herself now...see him and tell him....

That she loved him...

More than anything in the whole wide world!

They were nearing the spot, a villager told them the factory construction-site was right around the corner.

They headed there as fast as they could—with Imlie hoping he was right there—at the supposed factory—inspecting something or the other—and nothing else.

She ran out—before an officer slowly held her with his arm, backing her behind him.

"Ma'am please, you promised us you'd oblige."

"LET ME SEE MY HUSBAND FIRST!"
She spoke, barely concealing her fear and rage.

He shook his head in a firm no. And held her back—trying to signal the other officers to keep watch.

They walked around the area, quietly surveilling the surroundings. Nothing fishy as such.

There was shrubbery around them—an almost field-like area—which they wanted to scan.

Their eyes also fell on the tiny hotel where Aryan had been living the night before—as informed earlier, that was right along the lane from where they arrived.

They were going to divide and search through that area as well, in case they didn't see him here.

They looked around—hoping they could catch a glimpse of him, so that they could secure him—with Imlie frantically moving around and about the officer.

Just then, two figures walked out of the factory entrance, discussing certain points—unaware about their surroundings— engaged in deep conversation.
