' He is going to Australia after two days ' Teja thought while staring at the messages Karan sent to her.
' I should meet him na before he leaves....umm... I mean the entire cricket team, I didn't even talk to Ruturaj since long. I should go  and wish them luck, not as friend , because I am not one , not as a doctor because Shruti be will doing that work , but I can surely go as a cricket fan right. Ok then i will go,  finally I will get to see him ...and the entire team after an entire week ' 
Karan on the other hand was missing Teja a lot , he picked up his phone to call her ,but stopped. Now it was about his self respect. From the past one week he was the one who was calling her, messaging her, but Teja never took the initiative. And moreover the only replies which he used to get were
" Ok"
"Yes/No"
"I am fine, and I know you are fine too"
"I am busy"
"Call you later"
"Bye"
And nothing else. 
' Why are you even thinking about her ,who is she , no one ' Karan thought .
' You said that you will initiate conversations with me Teja, and now you are not even replying to my texts , since the last one week . Not even a best luck message , is this so easy for you to forget me , and if it is , then you will get the same for my end too , no messages from my end too from now on.' 
The next day Karan got ready to leave , there was a bus ready to take the team to the Airport. He reached the lobby of the hotel where they were staying and saw Teja along with Shruti talking to the team members. Karan was happy beyond words, he wanted to go talk to her but then,
' You were not going to talk to her' 
his conscious reminded.
Teja saw Karan and smiled at him .
'So shameless Teja , she is behaving as if nothing happened. Sorry Teja but I'm not talking to you now ' Karan thought and did not smile back at her. 
Teja saw Karan walking towards her, she was so eager to talk to him. Earlier when she smiled at him he didn't return it back , so Teja knew that he was angry on her, but now seeing him come towards her she thought 
' He can't even stay angry for long, such a cutie ' 
but this thought broke when she saw him walk past her and went to talk to Shruti.
Teja kept standing there watching the two talk hoping that once he is done talking with Shruti he will surely come and talk to her. But nothing of that sought happened. Karan talked with Shruti and went away without even looking at her. Clearly he was angry and hurt .
Teja felt broken, she knew that he will be upset and might ignore her too , because of the way she behaved from the past few days, but she never knew that him ignoring her will hurt her so bad. Her eyes got teary, but before anyone could see ,she wiped them off. 
The entire scene was witnessed by Ruturaj, he even saw Teja getting emotional so he went to talk to her.
"Teju , after soo long , we missed you a lot"
"Same here. And all the best Rutu.Have a great match"
"Thank you. Did you talk to Karan, even he was missing you a lot"
"No" Teja said bitterly "He is ignoring me."
"Like how you ignored him"
"I was not ignoring him...i was just .......busy"
"So tell this to him, he will surely listen"
Teja kept quiet
"Don't be sad Teja , he will be fine, just give him some time, we will talk once we return back, okay. Bye , take care"
"Bye. Happy journey" Teja said with a smile .
Soon all the players got on the bus . 
Teja and Shruti wished everyone luck and were ready to leave the hotel.
" So you will not even wish me luck now " Karan said .
Teja turned back and saw Karan. Seeing him there instantly brought a bright smile on her face." I thought you didn't want to talk to me" Teja said
"Yes ofcourse, that's why I was messaging you and calling you so much"
"I'm really sorry Karan, I was busy"
"Not even a single text Teja"
"I'm sorry" Teja said making a really cute puppy face
"It's not working Teja....... Ok maybe it is .......fine your apology is accepted"
"Thank youu" Teja screamed
"Teja, I don't want us to talk daily, I know that you are a doctor and are busy, but please do find time in between to reply to my texts"
"I will Karan, no need to tell me this, and again I'm really sorry for the way I behaved lately."
"It's ok doctor . Bye. The bus  is waiting"
"All the best Karan, I know you will do good"
"I hope so "
"Bye, take care" Teja said 
"You too" Karan replied.
'I will miss you'   'Miss you'   they said internally, but these words  did not find a way to their mouth.
"You two are really good friends , and it's not a question, it is a fact " Shruti said after Karan left.
Teja just smiled not knowing what to say.
"I hope me and Karan to get this close too or maybe even more "
"Huh?"
"Like the kind of comfort level you guys share, the way he talks to you ,so freely"
Teja could not figure out why was Shruti saying such things.
"You know na  that I like him." Shruti said .
Teja did not know how to process this new information. Normally if she would get to know that one of her friend likes her other friend , she would be happy, but for some reason this felt wierd.
"Teja where are you lost" Shruti asked bringing Teja back to reality .
"Nothing. I just never knew that you liked him."
"Ohh I thought you must have guessed it"
"Since when"
"What"
"You liking him"
"Maybe from the first day itself, you know na he is such a charming person. It's just too hard to not get attracted." 
Shruti said with a blush.
"And even my luck was in my favour. You got busy in the hospital , so mom asked me to look after the team. This way i got a lot of time with him."
"Though he doesn't talk much but still I try. He is worth the efforts you know "
"Ofcourse,he is worth it " Teja said  lost in her own thoughts.
