When I woke, the room was still flooded in darkness, the sun having yet to rise. I heard the soft snores of someone behind me and looked down at my fingers, they'd wound themselves around theirs and still held on tightly.
I tensed slightly as I recognized them to be Draco's.
I suddenly became very aware that I was completely nude. I shifted slightly, so not to wake him, but so I could slip out of bed.
I managed to wiggle out of his grasp and quickly and quietly, crept to my bathroom.
I turned on the light and blinked furiously, the light blinding me momentarily. I stood in front of my mirror and surveyed my body. I felt beyond broken. Physically I looked okay, but I knew I had wounds that would take a long time to heal deep inside me.
I checked the clock on my wall to see it was just after three in the morning. I placed my hands onto the counter and inhaled deeply, how was I going to explain this to Neville? I couldn't not tell him, I'm sure he'd find out sooner rather than later, and I'd hate for him to find out by someone else.
I grabbed my dressing gown off the hook I had on the back of the bathroom door and tied it securely around my body. I wanted a hot coffee, it probably wasn't the best thing to drink at this time, but I needed to feel the heat inside my body.
I turned the light off with a soft click and slowly opened the door, trying not to make a sound. I took one step into my bedroom and froze, Draco was sat on the edge of my bed rubbing his eye's sleepily.
"What time is it?" He asked, his voice thick of sleep.
"Just after three," I whispered back.
After everything he'd done for me the past few hours, I couldn't help but feel embarrassed. He'd seen me in ways I never thought possible, in ways he shouldn't have. He was my boss after all. Well, kind of.
He rose to his feet slowly, he took a few steps towards me, his bare feet padding softly on the carpet. He was wearing jogging bottoms that hung on his hips, showing far more than they should have.
"How are you?" He asked seriously, his eyes darting up and down my body.
I flinched slightly, "I'm okay"
"Liar" he said sharply, "coffee?"
He started making his way to the hallway and paused as he got to my door, he turned to face me and even in the darkness, I could see the questioning on his face.
I nodded slowly and followed him to the kitchen.
"Where is Scorpius?" I asked quietly as we passed his room.
"My mothers" he replied simply.
We continued to the kitchen in silence and I sat on the stool as Draco made his way to his coffee machine.
Within moments, the smell of coffee filled the room, Draco placed a mug of black coffee in front of me and placed a bowl of sugar beside it. He grabbed the milk jug from the fridge and he poured some into the mug. I grabbed the teaspoon and poured two generous helpings of sugar and swirled the coffee slowly.
Draco sat beside me and sipped his hot coffee. I watched as his tongue darted out and ran along his lip slowly.
"How do you really feel?" Draco suddenly asked.
I paused, chewing my lip slightly. If truth be told, I didn't know how I felt. At least not mentally.
"I hurt" I finally said quietly. He nodded once, a soft frown lining his brow.
