It was night. The moon was out. Along a dark corridor, a figure tip-toed to the grand room at the end. The two large doors had the golden heads of Kitsunes: the Queen's chambers.

That, however, was not what the figure was looking for. The figure focused on the paintings lining the walls of the corridor leading to the chambers. Suddenly, lightning flashed and thunder boomed, the light revealing the painting closest to the figure.

A picture of the Queen holding a girl in her arms. The girl had dark violet hair and eyes, a precious lily clasped between her hands. She was obviously a natural beauty, her face free of makeup, a ring with a blue diamond on her ring finger.

Just as the figure drew nearer in awe, a streak of white flashed past her vision before she was knocked down. The figure then heard a smooth, ice-cold voice.

"Saotome Mary, what a bold girl you are," the voice chuckled.

Lightning flashed again, revealing a woman with Kitsune ears and tails. She had a smooth pale face, with silvery-white hair and blue eyes.

"R...Ririka?" Mary gasped breathlessly.

The woman lifted her hand and Mary collapsed.
