Sora sat alone in a dark cell hugging her knees. She looked at the barred door her blue eyes dull and empty. Void of any emotion. She sat still waiting for someone to come and get her, knowing when they did the pain would start again. Her fists clenched and she hid her face in her knees screwing her eyes shut. Why couldn't this all end and be over? Why did she have to live through this for 3 years? What had she done to deserve such a pitiful life?

She heard footsteps walking down the hall and stopping at her cell causing her to tense up. She refused to look up fearing what was waiting for her. However, she noticed the person took much longer to open the lock than usual. She slowly looked up to see an unfamiliar person picking the lock. They wore a strange animal-shaped white mask with markings on it and their build was rather large. As she took a closer look she noticed stands of blue hair. It didn't take them too much longer to get through the lock and make their way into the cell. But as they got close Sora flinched away still afraid. Who was this person and what did that want with her?

"I won't hurt you I promise. I'm here to get you out of here, " a masculine voice spoke.

She still hesitated, looking up at him. The last person to say that was Orochimaru and look where that got her, though she didn't feel the same crushing fear being faced with this person. More footsteps were heard and the masked man's head snapped back looking at the hallway and quickly back at Sora. He quickly picked her up shocking her. She went to yell out in panic only for her mouth to be covered.

"I'm sorry about this but we don't have much time, " he said.

Once she calmed down he moved her to his back. He ran through the hideout quietly and skillfully soon coming to the entrance. Sora covered her eyes the light blinding not having seen it in a long time. It took her a while to adjust the whole time the man was running through a forest getting as much distance as he could between them and the hideout.

Once Sora's eyes adjusted she looked up at the clear blue sky, a sight she didn't realise she missed. White fluffy clouds drifted by peacefully, birds soaring overhead chirping happily and a gentle breeze ruffled her hair. She basked in the beauty soaking in the warm sunlight. It had been so long since she had been outside. So very long since she felt a sliver of freedom. The last time was when her brother and her were running away. She tensed remembering that day. The blood, his corpse. On the edge of freedom only for it to be snatched away from her. Was that about to happen again? Her hands started gripping the man's shoulders fearing what would happen.

"Where are we going?" She questioned fear evident in her voice.

"The village hidden in the leaves," He said sparing a glance at the terrified girl.

She rested her head on his shoulder deciding to enjoy the little bit of freedom she has at the moment. If it was to be stolen away she wanted to soak it in while she could. So she watched the clouds drift by as they ran towards the leaf. Towards what she hoped wasn't another cage. Sora's eyes began to become heavy not being used to the comfortable warmth of a summer's day. So she found herself dozing off while watching the clouds pass by.

When she woke up she was in a hospital room wearing a gown. She looked around worried and confused not realising she had fallen asleep. Panic etched its way into her heart and her breathing became shallow. Her eyes darted around the room searching until they looked at the door to the room as an old man walked in wearing a white and red hat with a symbol on it with a matching robe. He took a step inside the room making Sora panic and jump out of bed as she backed herself into a corner scared.

"Who are you and where am I?" She questioned her eyes darting around the room searching for an exit.

"I'm Hizuzen Sarutobi, the Hokage and you are in the leaf village," He said calmly hoping to calm her anxieties.

"What do you want with me?" Sora asked.

"To know what you know about Orochimaru," The Hokage said.

She froze in place upon hearing that name. That man, her eyes screwed closed as memories began to flood into her head making her body tremble. She wasn't safe, she would never be safe from him. She could never escape he promised her that. She also knew she would be severely punished for doing this.

"Perhaps we should start with your name," The old man said drawing her attention back to him.

She looked at the man her eyes becoming dull, she had to be careful, showing any weakness would get her killed. She had to stay an empty husk, a tool. Just like that man wanted. Or else she would be punished even more severely. She had to be a perfect test subject. A perfect weapon.

"Sora Hisha," She mumbled.

She observed the man, she had to stay alert, she wasn't safe.

"It's nice to meet you Sora, we don't need to rush into anything. For now, just rest up and gain your bearings," He said smiling.

He soon left the room to let her get used to everything. Once out of the room, he looked at the door.

"A Hisha, that explains a lot," He mumbled in thought.
