The Harrington boy had driven the van back to the trailer park once night had fallen, meaning that everyone had most likely been sleeping and it would make it easier for them to sneak back into Eddie's trailer. "Okay. I wanna run through it one more time," Nancy said as everyone gathered around her in the RV. "Phase One."

"We meet Erica at the playground. She'll signal Max, Alicia, and Lucas when we're ready," Beverly spoke, her hair now tied up in a ponytail to prevent any hair from getting in her face. The others had also dawned some new things, like Dustin's gillie suit and Eddie's bandana for example, that would help once they were in the Upside Down.

Some others, like Carmen and Robin, decided to wear some hats for style. No one could blame them, though, since they looked hot.

"Phase Two."

"Max baits Vecna. He'll go after her, which'll put him in his trance," Steve continued on, making Carmen and Beverly both share a melancholic glance.

"Phase Three?"

"Me, Carmen, Chris, and Eddie will draw the bats away," Dustin voiced, causing Eddie to pat him on the head.

"Four."

"We head into Vecna's hopefully newly bat-free lair, and..." Robin shook the Molotov, "flambé." Beverly grabbed the new axe she was able to buy at the store, trying to get used to feel of it around her hand.

"Nobody moves on to the next phase until we've all copied. Nobody deviates from the plan, no matter what. Got it?" Nancy instructed sternly.

"Got it," they all said, getting out of the van to head over into Eddie's trailer where the small gate still resided in. They quickly headed inside where the rope made out of sheets was still hanging there on both sides of the gate.

"Be careful," Dustin told Steve since he was getting ready to climb up first.

"Thanks, buddy," Steve replied before he grabbed onto the rope. "Here goes nothing." He began to climb up, reaching the middle-ground between the two worlds. He was then able to propel himself upwards (or downwards?) and flip, landing perfectly on his feet. He looked up through the gate, shrugging at all of them watching his little performance.

"Oh, what does he want us to do, applaud?" Robin muttered sarcastically at the girls, making Nancy and Carmen snicker.

"That's Steve Harrington for you," Carmen told her dramatically, scoffing lightly.

"I'd applaud," Beverly whispered breathlessly to herself, finding the act Steve did extremely attractive. But she had to focus, so she quickly cleared her throat, watching as Steve brought the mattress from the Upside Down underneath the gate.

"All right. Let's go!" Steve called out and Beverly carefully dropped her axe on the ground, pulling herself up the rope before she fell through. Steve reached his hand and said, "Gotcha," as he pulled her up, making their faces mere inches apart. They smiled at each other for a quick second before they moved out of the way so the others could drop their supplies down.

Eddie then went next, followed by his shield; then it was Carmen, followed by her shield; then it was Robin, followed by her things; then it was Dustin; and then it was Chris with the rest of the supplies. They all quickly made sure they had everything before they ventured out of the trailer, into the Upside Down.

"Hey, guys, listen," Steve said to Carmen, Chris, Eddie, and Dustin. "If things here start to go south, I mean, at all, you abort. Okay? Draw the attention of the bats. Keep 'em busy for a minute or two. We'll take care of Vecna. Don't try to be cute or be a hero or something. Okay? You guys are just—"
