Handling things.[42]

                                    

                                          
Every now and then I will wake Taehyung up to get me my cravings.
And today was one of the days.
"Okay, I got your chocolate covered strawberries... Anything else?"
"Nothing else." I smiled and stuffed my mouth with the strawberries.
I ate the strawberries while watching my phone  ut I looked over just to see Taehyung looking at me.
"You can go to sleep you know?" I said. "I'll wait until you're done."
"Go to sleep. You have work tomorrow." I pat his hair.
He just stared at me. "I'm sorry Taehyung, I need to stop waking you up to get my cravings." My hormones kicked in.
"You know it doesn't bother me. I'm doing my job as a husband and father." He hugged me.
"Don't you ever say that again." He whispered.
He comforted me and laid back down with his phone in his hand.
"Since you're awake, wanna share?" I asked. "Feed me."
I took a strawberry and fed him.
"Okay I'll go and put the plate and we'll sleep." Taehyung went out and I got myself comfortable.
[TAEHYUNG'S POV]
"Y/n I brought water for yo- This girl.." I kissed her forehead and hugged her to sleep.
She is already 7 months pregnant, I had to convince her to stop working and relax.
And tomorrow is her appointment but I have an important meeting to attend to.
[Y/N'S POV]
[MORNING, 8 AM]
"Taehyung-ah, wake up."
"5 more minutes. " He turned to the other side of the bed. 
"I'll go to the bathroom first then." I carefully got up and walked my way to the bathroom.
After I was done dressing up, I went to check up on Taehyung.
"Taehyung-ah, you'll be late for work if you don't wake up now."
"Alright I'm up!" He got up with his hair all messed up.
I walked downstairs to eat my breakfast. 
"I'll drive you to the hospital then I'll head to my office building."
"R-right, you're not going today..." I mumbled.
"I really want to be there and you know that, it's just the meeting clashes with the appointment." He held my hand.
"It's okay, I'll send you videos. Now hurry up or I'll be late for the appointment too." 
[AT THE HOSPITAL. ]
"Love you. Remember to message me!" He waved as I waved back.
"Good morning Ms Choi! Mr Kim not here today?" 
"Ah he has a very important meeting to attend to. It'll just be me and the baby today."
"So how is your sixth month?"
"Just some cravings here and there overall, a very smooth month for me. Oh! and the baby kicks." I pointed out.
"It's very normal to experience the baby kicking. Do you have a pregnancy pillow at home? I recommend that for your third trimester. " 
"My crazy husband bought it when I was only 2 months pregnant."
"It's good to be prepared. Now you will see the baby."
Doctor Lee rubbed the gel on my belly and scanned to see the baby. 
"Your baby is the size of a squash..."
"Your baby is about 36 cm long and weighs from about 900 - 1800g. Your baby's hearing is fully developed and they change position frequently and responds to stimuli, including sound, pain, and light." She added.
"Can I hear the heartbeat?" I asked. "Sure just give me a minute." She clicked the buttons and the heartbeat was playing.
I recorded it and sent it to Taehyung.
"You can do this! You just have 2 months to go! Fighting!"
"Thank you Doctor Lee!" I left to the lobby to call a car but someone grabbed my arm.
"That baby should be mine." His voice sent chills down my spine. When I turned back it was none other than Dae  Jil..
"Stay away from me, please." I was shaking, scared that he will harm me and my baby.
"Your husband doesn't know about me, right?"
I shook my head. "When he finds out you're with me now, how would he feel?" He held my chin but I pushed his hand away.
"One day, Choi Y/n." He walked off but I was still breathing heavily.
"Y/n! How was the appointment?" I looked over to see Jennie.
"Jen? What are you doing here?" I asked. 
"Taehyung called me saying he can't make it to the appointment so he asked me to fill in. Don't worry, Yeonjun told me to accompany you too."
"Then you're in charge of my cravings. Come on let's go."
