𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴇɴᴛɪss ᴀᴘᴀʀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ
Since the team got home from their case last evening the plan to help with painting Amelia's room and putting up her furniture would actually work out. So around ten-thirty Emily heard the doorbell ringing and quickly got up from the sofa where she had been watching some TV since she had woken up.
"Hey P I didn't expect you so early.", Emily greeted the technical analyst surprised.
"Hey sorry, I know I am early but me and JJ thought it be nice to catch up about the lastest stuff before the boys arrive.", Garcia replied excited.
"JJ?", the agent raised an eyebrow.
"She'll be here in about five minutes she's picking up some breakfast for us.", the blonde told her while walking to the living room. "Is Amelia already awake?", she asked hopeful.
"Uhm no, at least not that I know of. I haven't seen her get out of her room, so I would just assume that she is still asleep.", Emily answered and shrugged her shoulders.
"So how's it going with her?", Garcia asked worried while taking a seat on the sofa.
"Well, her social worker told me that she seems to feel comfortable here and all that but I mean I guess her standards can't be that high with what I heard of her last foster homes.", the brunette sighed. "Most of the time she's in her room and when we talk while dinner it's more about how her school day was or something like that.", she shrugged her shoulders again when the doorbell rang.
"That must be JJ.", Garcia exclaimed while Emily went to the front door. After greeting JJ the two agents walked to the living room and the blonde agent placed the takeaway bags on the coffeetable in front of the sofa.  
Garcia and JJ got everything out of the bag while Emily was getting some plates from the kitchen. 
"So Amelia is not awake by now?",, JJ asked when the brunette got back to the living room.
"At least she hasn't left her room so I guess no.", Emily told her. "But I mean you can go and wake her up if you want too.", she offered.
"As much as I'd love too I think she deserves some sleep.", JJ laughed.
"Good, then tell me more about the last case. I mean yeah I helped from here but I don't know what happened yesterday that led to y'all arresting the unsub. I didn't expect y'all back before Monday honestly.", Prentiss said.
After JJ had updated her on the case, the blondes wanted to know how the visit from the social worker went.
"When she got here she asked me and Amelia some questions like what is going on with school and all that stuff. To be honest she was surprised that Amelia already was going to school and you should have seen her face when she heard that it was a private one.", Emily laughed. 
"Well I would bet she hasn't heard this in her carrier before.", JJ thought.
"Probably, she even asked me if I knew that the government wouldn't be paying for this and that I didn't have to.", the brunette told them.
"Kinda sad if you think about it.", Garcia said with a sad look on her face.
"Yeah, I mean that just shows how messed up the system is.", Emily sighed. "After the talking part she checked the apartment and then she wanted to talk to me and Amelia separately and asked some more questions about how it's going and if I might have changed my mind about fostering Amelia.", she summarized.
"Did you tell her about the incident?", JJ wanted to know.
"What incident?", Penelope asked worried.
"Oh uhm yeah I didn't tell you about P.", Emily remembered.
