It was just a normal busy day for the small town of the empire. Everyone was busy working and going here and there.
The lady happily walked down the streets with her best friend. "I think it's time to bid our farewell, lady y/n." The knight said and he bowed down and kissed the ring on her finger. "Oh my, i should say the same kind sir." She flashed a smile on him.
The girl looked happy with him but someone's heart ached as she watched them talking from behind in a cloak.
Scarlet strands of hairs and violet pupils that shined in the sunlight, the one thing that looked odd was the blood on her beautiful dress and a axe with fresh blood on her hands.
Karen smirked as a thought came in her mind. Y/n's carriage had just left the place and the knight walked down the lonely streets to patrol the town but got hit by something hard on his head. His head starts to bleed as he turned back groaning in pain to see the culprit. "Surprise" a strange flicker sparkled in Karen's purple eyes and a light blush covered her pale white skin as she strike again making him lose consciousness.
Y/n was happy because tonight was the night she would meet Karen, her bestest friend again in a while. She was a simple girl who approached her in a party, she had a really warm persona which made y/n befriend with her. Her beautiful purple jewel like eyes and cherry red hairs, she was a true beauty.... A beauty with blood on her dress.
Her carriage was going through the dense forest when sudden a loud thud made it stop all of sudden. She quickly peaked out to see that no one was there not even her own coachman. "What the..." she stepped out to look around but there was nothing more than bushes and trees.
Suddenly her head started to get heavy and her eyesight started to get blurry for an unknown reason. She was having severe headache. "Oh god.." she said trying to endure the pain but failed miserably by falling on the ground. Before she could close her eyes she felt a familiar touch. Her saviour.
She slowly opened her eyes, she was inside a broken cottage right in middle of nowhere, tied to her chair ... she felt someone coming towards her which made her heart pound more and even more as the footsteps came closer.
Suddenly a black cloth covered her eyes, "who is it?!?!" She said trying to break the ropes. "Impatient much?" A familiar feminine voice which made her whole body turn pale white. "W-who is it?! What do you want?!" She said scared of her life to the point she was trembling. "I would be lying if i say i am someone you don't know." She felt the cold tip of knife being pressed on her cheek.
"Please let me go! You want jewels? Perhaps money? I will give you all of that but just let me go!!" She cried out but get a faint chuckle from the woman. "Those stones and paper is not what i desire for." The lady pressed the knife even more deeper making it bleed. "Then what do you want?" She said biting her lips preventing it from shivering.
"You...." She whispered in y/n ears sending chills down her spine. "Wait....k-karen? Is that you?... no i-it can't be..." she asked tearing up. "You are indeed a sharp girl."
"I thought we were f-friend..." a tear rolled down her cheek.
"You thought that but for me you were more than that." She said slowly caressing her jawline from her knife. "Please let me go i beg you please." She cried out in fear when she felt the knife being pressed against her neck. Her whole fragile body was trembling in fear, her lips almost at the verge of bleeding. She felt karen's hands wiping off the blood from her thumb.
"P-please I won't tell anyone j-just let me go." She tried to convince her but that didn't seem to work at all. "Karen please!"
"Shhhhh. Oh my darling I won't hurt you as long as you'll be a good girl hmm?" She said. "Please spare me please i beg you!" She again tried to break the ropes. "I said stay quite!!" She said strangling her. "Don't make me hurt you." Her purple eyes sparked again. It was too hard to understand what her feelings are but one thing was confirmed that she could go to any extend in the condition she was in right now... even killing y/n.
"You are the only woman who could get me out of this misery, you are the one i love the most! I want you to stay with me forever even if you die I won't let you go." She said with a scary smirk plastered on her face. She totally wasn't in right mind.
"I want to treasure your skeleton after you die. I love you to that extent, no other man could treasure you like me not even that knight you met in morning." She said slowly cutting her flesh while the blood drop on floor like water. "Whoever you will get near to i will just end them no matter what consequences i will have to face."
"I have been doomed with this live circle!! I want you to get me out of my misery you will won't you honey?" She said with a hint of blush on her face as she continued to cut her slowly. "Let me go! Please!" Y/n again cried out to release her.
"Can't you understand what i mean you stupid girl?!" Karen growled in anger. "I love you and i want you to stay by my side understand?!"
"But I don't love you!!" Just the moment she finished the sentence her throat was slit open with the knife in karen's hands. Her fresh blood dripping down her knife. The blood all over her face as she wiped it. "You made me do it darling, you are the reason for your death." She breathed heavily.
She pointed the same knife on her neck and died the same way she killed y/n. "I don't want to be doomed with another life." Those were her last words as she closed her eyes again.
Just like that karen's 108th life ended...
The next life....
She looked at y/n in the party standing in the corner with just an empty expression. Y/n just looked at her and smiled as she did to others. She did not even bother to utter a word. Karen also smiled back at her and sipped the wine she was holding.
"Hello lady y/n, it seem you are standing all alone here."
"Oh my hello lady haier, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"You did escaped in the previous life but not now... i will make you mine and only mine."
