Chapter 17: Vampire Training

                                    

                                          
Zayn's Pov
                          


                          
"WHY AM I SO DAMN HUNGRY?!" I scream at the top of my lungs. Noelle has been helping me train but I just can't get over the hunger. "Baby, you have to take some deep breathes. Just try to relax hun. If you keep giving in it will drive you crazy." Elle says, trying to calm me down. I close my eyes and take a very deep breath. I can slowly feel my body calm down and relax to a point where I lean my back against a tree to give me support. "There, now that you are calm, let me find us something to eat." Elle says, using her vampire senses to seek out food. I never thought being a vampire would mean I would be this hungry. "I hear something." I say, listening to the footsteps that were only a few feet away from us. Being in the middle of the woods was a good thing for me right now. I would probably kill the first person I saw.
                          


                          
"Zayn, you have to be very quiet. The animals can hear us if we make the wrong move. Don't move. I got this." Elle says as she uses her vampire speed and kills the deer in seconds. I walk over to her and she looks up at me with blood all around her lips. "Dig in baby. It will help." Elle stands up and licks the blood on her face. I bend down and sink my fangs into the deer's neck. Man, this is absolute heaven! Never thought I would be sucking blood from a deer. I stop drinking when I hear footsteps behind me. I snap my head up and into the direction I hear the footsteps coming from. I stand up when I see another deer walking a little ways away from us. I begin my very first kill attempt. 
                          


                          
"Zay-" Elle doesn't even get to finish her sentence before I pounce onto the deer and plunge my fangs into it's neck, killing it instantly. I drain this deer in a matter of minutes. "Wow, congrats babe! You succeeded your first kill. See? It isn't that hard." Elle comes over to me and kisses my lips. We pull back and we are both smiling. "You are doing so well. I think you got this down pat already. You have officially accomplished the vampire ways." Elle giggles and grabs my hands. We run off back to the house and get there in record time. Yes we used our vampire speed until we got to our backyard. 
                          


                          
Today was such a busy day. From learning how to handle the vampire pain to learning how to successfully killing my own food, all thanks to the love of my life, Elle. She is beyond amazing. "Hun? Are you okay? You're spaced out." Elle questions me, looking me dead in the eyes. "I'm great babe. Just thinking about how much I love you."  I reply, kissing her on her lips. "I love you too." She mumbles against my lips. Well it's a good thing we are in the bedroom because the kiss just got very heated.
                          


                          
(A/N: I'm sorry for the very short update but a lot is going to happen in the next chapter. Unfortunately this story is starting to come to an end. Only 3 more chapters then it will be over. *cue the crying emoji*)
