The twins looked at each other sadly then walked into the pawnshop, "Gold! In here?" Elias called out.

"Well, it is my shop," Mr Gold said to himself in the backroom as he covered a piece of cloth with lanolin.

The twins walked into the backroom, instantly taken back by the smell, "Woah! What is that?" Emma asked.

"Oh, this is lanolin...used for waterproofing," Mr Gold said.

"It stinks. Uh, if there was a reason why you called the Sheriff's Department. If you wanna talk about that quickly..." Elias said.

"Yes," Mr Gold said as he stood up.

"Or outside..." Elias said and the twins walked to the front of the shop.

Mr Gold followed them, "I just wanted to express my condolences, really. The Sheriff was a good man," he noticed Emma wearing the deputy badge, "You're still wearing the deputy's badge. Well, he's been gone for two weeks now. And I believe after two weeks of acting as sheriff the job becomes yours. You'll have to wear the real badge," Mr Gold said.

"Yeah, I guess I'm just not in a hurry. So, um, thank you for the kind words," Emma said.

"Thanks," Elias said and the twins turned to leave.

"I have his things," Mr Gold said.

"What?" The twins said, turning back to him.

"The Sheriff," Mr Gold walked over to a box on the counter, "He rented an apartment that I own. Another reason for my call, really. I wanted to offer you both a keepsake. I already did the same for his sister, Nadia. She already took what she wanted," Mr Gold said.

"I don't need anything," Emma said.

"No thank you, Mr Gold," Elias said.

"As you wish. I'll give the rest to Mayor Mills. Seems like she was the closest thing he had to family, beside Nadia," Mr Gold said.

"Not sure about that," Emma said.

"Same," Elias said.

"No love lost there, I see. Look, I feel that all of this stuff is heading directly for the trash bin. You both really should take something. Look!" he picked up Graham's jacket, "His jacket?" Mr Gold said.

"No," The twins said.

"Well, look," he looked at Elias as he held up a pair of walkie-talkies, "Your boy might like these, don't you think? You could play together," Mr Gold said.

"I don't..." Elias said.

"No, please. They...They grow up so fast," Mr Gold said.

Elias took them, "Thank you," He said.

"You enjoy these times with your boy. Your time together is precious, you know? That's the thing about children. Before you know it, you lose them," Mr Gold said.

Elias met Henry at his playground, bringing the two walkie-talkies with him. He sat down beside Henry, handing him one of the walkie-talkies.

"Brought you something. Thought we could use them together for Operation Cobra," Elias said.

"Thanks," Henry said.

"Oh, come on!" he nudged Henry a little, "What's up? You've been ducking me and Em for weeks," Elias said.

"I think we should stop Cobra stuff for a while. You don't play with the curse. Look what happened to Graham," Henry said.
