Sammy woke up from her deep slumber to be met by Liz's face. She treated her really nicely and Sammy thought she was a great mother. "Good morning, Sam." Liz said softly. "Hi." Sammy whispered, sitting up in her bed, and smiling at Liz.

"Do you like it here so far?" Liz asked her, and Sammy chuckled, "It has only been two weeks." She said, and Liz smiled. "I know, but do you like living here?" She repeated, and Sammy nodded slowly.

"Does Luke annoy you?" Liz asked, and Sammy giggled, shaking her head. "I have a question though.." Sammy trailed off, as Liz looked at her. "I hope I'm not being too nosy, but," Liz nodded for her to go on. "Why do Luke and Jack not get along?" Sammy asked, and Liz looked away, her smile dropping.

There was complete silence, until Liz decided to cut it saying, "I'll go make breakfast." and leaving Sammy's room.

Sammy shrugged her shoulders, getting even more confused as to why Liz refused to say why Luke and Jack weren't on good terms with each other. She got up, though, and walked to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and washed her face, fixed her disheveled hair and walked out of her room.

She didn't know if the Hemmings were to put her in highschool because, she thought they weren't that poor to not do it. Especially that she was only a few steps away from entering year 11. She was only a few miles away from graduating, and her parents decided she was useless.

Sammy, though, couldn't get herself to talk with Andy and Liz about the highschool thing, because she thought it'd be quite rude because she just came to live with them, and already asking to enter highschool?

Just before she could make it to the first step, she heard a string of profanities coming from Luke's room, if she didn't know his parents were home, she could've thought he had a girl over. Her curiosity got the best of her, and she knocked on the door of his room. She heard a heavy sigh, and paddling of footsteps coming towards the door.

A shirtless Luke opened the door, but immediately ran to put his shirt on when he saw it was Sammy. She blushed slightly, "Can I enter?" She said, and he nodded. When she stepped into his room, she mentally laughed at the thought of him making love to a girl, because she found an Xbox opened on a game of Call of Duty. Luke propped himself down again on his couch, and went on with playing, as if Sammy weren't even there.

"Do you know how to drive?" Sammy asked Luke, taking a seat next to him on the couch. He scoffed, nodding and she rolled her eyes. "Will you do me a favor then?" She asked again, and upon that, Luke sighed heavily and paused the game, looking at her.

He nodded for her to say what she wants to say, and she spoke up, "I-I want to go back to the orphanage." She said, a little unsure of whether or not she's doing the right thing by telling him. Luke knitted his brows together, as if telling her 'aren't you happy here?' "I want to see Ashton." She said, and he looked at her for a few minutes before nodding firmly. She couldn't understand why he just wouldn't talk. She heard him swear not just three minutes ago, so she supposed he had a tongue so why wouldn't he talk to her? that question ate away at her brain, until she found herself blurting it out. "Why wouldn't you ever talk? I mean, you were swearing just minutes ago, so your tongue is in place." She said, quickly adding, "If that's not a rude question." When she saw his expression change. He didn't answer, as she expected, and he continued playing.

"So, would you drive me there?" She asked, shrugging off the not talking thing away. He nodded not even glancing away from the TV screen. Sammy sighed, saying, "But let this be a secret, will you?"

He looked at her, shrugging his shoulders and nodding. She smiled brightly, and as an overly excited gesture, she kissed his cheek, walking out of his room.

His jaw was partly open, looking at the door even though Sammy was already out. He was amazed. Well, he was never kissed by a girl, let alone never talked to one, and it felt foreign for him to have the girl kissing him.

He looked back on the paused game, smiling to himself, as he continued with the game. 'Here goes a couple of days without washing my face' He though, giggling to himself.
