Summary: Dewdrop's getting a bit heated. And Sunshine does appreciate that too much.
Warnings: Dewdrop being a complete douche
A/n: I wanna preface this to those who read author's notes - I don't really understand the ghoulettes personalities too much. I will say, I'm one of those people who have only paid half as attention to them as I do to the boys. But, I'm gonna try this, yeah?

You were one of the tech crew, a valuable asset to the band and someone who could completely fuck up a show if they wished. And this is why the ghouls loved you - you never chose to fuck up a show.
You did everything in your power to help the ghouls with their instruments, calibrating the different set volumes of their mics and even the intensity of each instrument so it would compliment the other as perfect as it could. You helped a lot more too, but those were the main reasons they appreciated you so much.
And through this all, you'd formed an amazing relationship with the ghouls. They treated you like you were one of them and like you had always been one the of them. And through this bonding came an even greater relationship with the newest ghoulette.
She'd watched you effortlessly interact with the rest of the band. As a result, she adored you, in more than a friendly way, clinging to you with kisses and hugs that you originally thought were gestured of kindness. Cumulus gave you kisses all over her face when you would know exactly how to fix her mic in mere seconds if it had screwed her during a show.
Sunshine though, she wasn't as affectionate yet, only with you. And the only reason you saw that she wanted you as more than a friend was after a really good show for her, she pulled you into a deep kiss, surprising you, and the others. They'd never seen Sunshine interact this way - and they certainly had never thought of her and their little tech crew-member.
But from there-on-out, you'd agreed to be hers, the biggest fan the minor ghoulette has ever had, though sadly there were not many.
Tonight though, a show in the states, New York specifically. It was a big place, filled with a large population and a variety of unique minds - those of which gathered to watch the ghouls play. And played they did.
But you stood watching them from backstage, a mortified expression on your face. You'd heard one of Dewdrop's strings drop out of tune, luckily right at the end of the song but you still felt your heart drop, watching him scoff before tuning it in between songs.
You felt horrible. Sure, it wasn't your fault that it had dropped out of tune, but it felt like your fault. Especially with the way he glanced over to you while you stood there, now chewing at your fingernails while your heart pounded.
This was it. Your first big mistake. And hopefully your last. You couldn't be making stupid mistakes, the possibility of the strings not being wound tight enough to stay tuned could be your first and last straw to pull. You knew Papa and Sister Imperator weren't too harsh on their employees, but this was a live show, with hundreds on hundreds of people, watching for their entertainment, not to see the lead guitarist tune his guitar because the lead techie backstage was an idiot.
Lucky for you, the rest of the show flowed smoothly. You let an exhale as the ghouls filed off the stage, coming all towards you. And of course, Sunshine was the first to skip her way backstage and throwing her arms around you, planting kisses all over your lips.
The other ghouls ignored it, other than the ghoulettes who giggled and joined the hugging. But, someone interrupted, not the happiest camper. And he made the air around you start heating. If you looked hard enough, you could probably see the air around him swirl and swivel, hot as ever.
With a clearing of his throat, your attention turned to Sodo, an unamused look to his face.
"What was that back there?" he asked, throwing his hands up in a questioning stance.
You bowed your head before looking back up to him, "I'm sorry, Sodo. Here, give me your guitar, I'll fix the strings. I don't know why one would fall out of tune."
"I think I can look over my guitar myself. At least I know it won't be sabotaged," he snarled, stepping back while clutching the neck of his guitar.
Sunshine huffed out a sharp breath, "Shut it Dewy, without Y/n, we'd be lost."
"I'm sure she could be easily replaced."
"You're being a huge dick right now! Do you ever learn to be nice?!" Sunshine exclaimed, stopping everyone in their tracks. Nobody had ever heard her cuss. And nobody had ever heard her raise her voice.
You reached for her arm and she instantly put it around you, pulling you away to a dressing room. The door was then slammed and locked with a dangerous push of her hand.
Your lover held you against her chest, not purring but growling softly. She was mad, and you'd never thought you ever see your happy sunshine mad. It was a bit scary, knowing your sweetest girl could get that mad for you. But your heart softened.
You took off her mask, setting it down to look into her intensely glowing eyes. They were puffy, like she'd been about to cry. You felt even worse, making her upset without even meaning to. You raked your fingers through her fluffy hair, "Sunny, what's wrong?"
"He shouldn't talk to you like that. Ever. Nobody could replace you - nobody. I just got so mad, I'm so sorry.."
You ran your hands over her cheeks, pulling her to rest her forehead against yours, "I'm alright, Sunshine. And I will always be alright cause I have you."
Pulling her into a kiss, your lips locked instantly with a spark of passion.
