Snows POV:

My brother was here. With Maddox, it could blow the whole damn job if the others found out.

I knew they were thinking the same thing; that the boy with slight white hair could be my brother. It wasn't hard to figure that out by our faces, and yet they said nothing. I shuffled a little to the side.

Maddox continued walking, while I formed a plan in my head.

We're too close now for my brother to get in the way of it.

"Wait till he gets to the meeting point for the trade-off. The chances of him doing it out in the open are slim. Watch which building he goes in, and who follows. No killing till we're in the clear, especially the guards. There are likely soldiers with Maddox too, so don't be surprised if they almost round-house your face off."

Their silence told me they understood. "Shooter, stay out here just in case they make a run for it. Critical injuries only. Chaos and Silence, you're with me. And...."

I looked at the blond, his eyes shining with fear and excitement.

"We haven't encountered one of our enemies this high up on the rank before. Who knows, this could be another setup. I don't want to risk anything, so...you'll sit this one out."

"But—End of discussion. Let's go," The three of us stood up and left them both to keep eyes from the outside.

I refused to let guilt cloud my judgments of my decision. It was the smart one to keep Anderson out until we know what we were facing. He'd thank me for this if it was a trap.

We passed out the earpieces to one another on our way down.

"Their position, Shooter?" I turned on my connection. The earbud beeped to let us know we were connected to one another.

"Still moving West. The pace is still normal, and he hung up on his call. Continue," He responded.

I motioned Silence and Chaos to keep moving; they nodded.

Walking down the street mid-day was one of the hardest things a spy can do. Without looking suspicious, it's almost a 50/50 chance you get caught. I hunched down in my cardigan a little more while keeping eye on Maddox. Silence had a hat on, and Chaos wore sunglasses. We tried not to look suspicious walking all together by pretending to speak.

A dog and its owner made their way toward us on the sidewalk, causing the little golden retriever to start barking. My eyes widened.

"Split," I mumbled.

I forced my head to stare at the concrete ground as a kept walking. Silence went down an alley, and Chaos stopped to pet the dog to play it off. Maddox turned his head back for the first time after hearing the noise but didn't look worried at all. I finally breathed as he turned around again.

"You two okay?" I asked. I got two beeps back in return.

"He stopped," Shooter informed, "Headed into the old underground railway. No trains are operational, they're stuck."

Maddox already headed down the entrance, so I took a seat at the bench and waited.

I fixed the brunette wig uncomfortably. The pins dug into my scalp, and the outfit I wore was too itchy for my liking. I pulled out a book and flipped it open to a random page.

"You have my back, Chaos?" I yawned to cover my words.

"Always. Silence and I will meet you in there."
