Ch-15 : Discovery

                                    

                                          
Again, you woke up on a soft mattress but this time, the room was different. You tried to remember what happened but all you could recall was that you had walked away to cry for a while. You couldn't remember what happened after that. You stood up and walked towards the door cautiously and opened it slightly to peek outside. Fortunately, your body healed really fast so your legs didn't hurt that much anymore. You didn't see anyone so you started walking towards the light at the end of the dark corridor. Once you reached there you saw Chan, the council and the current Alpha sitting on the couch in the living room. The Alpha sensed your presence and turned to you with a smile.
Alpha: I've been waiting to see you.
You gulped because you didn't know what was waiting for you. Being confident was your nature but you immediately became scared and timid if you knew you messed up big time. You walked to the middle of the living room in front of the huge couch he was sitting and knelt down as a sign of apology for disobeying the rules. You kept your head lowered as you weren't ready to face his strong gaze right now. 
Alpha: What's your name?
Juno: Juno
Alpha: That's a beautiful name. 
Juno: Thanks. My brother named me.
Yoonmin: It was actually your father who named you that.
You whipped your head towards Yoonmin and turned back to the Alpha.
Juno: Please give me a minute. I'll be back.
You tried to make your way out but Changbin and Felix immediately blocked your way.
Felix: Where are you going now?
Juno: I'm going to change my name right now.
Felix: Sit back, it's a long process that can't be finished in a few minutes. Plus, it's dark outside and the office is closed.
You went back defeated and knelt down again in front of the Alpha.
Alpha: Seems like you don't like your father.
Juno: I never did.
Alpha: Why did you run away?
Juno: Because my mom came home and I hadn't taken the chicken out of the fridge.
Don't laugh. Don't laugh. Don't laugh. Why would you joke in a serious situation in front of the Alpha? You saw Yoonmin's funnily disappointed face from the corner of your eye.
Alpha: ...
Juno: I... thought everyone would be better off without me. Everyone hates me so if I left, they wouldn't have to bear the burden of my existence in their lives.
Alpha: Who hates you?
Juno: I... Uh... My father never wanted me, my mother is reminded of painful memories when she sees me, my brother's parents and family died because of my father years ago and ...
Alpha: Did they ever say they hated you?
Juno: No...
Alpha: If your father is causing trouble then you could've just reported to the head office and they would've taken care of him.
Juno: He's already taken care of. Uh, I mean he's dead. He died before I was born.
Alpha: Who is your father?
You froze. How can you tell him who your father was? Well, he would probably know, wouldn't he? Chan knows so there's no point in lying now.
Juno: ...D-Damon Wang maybe... I just got to know today.
