I closed my new sketchbook, looking at the ground. "Heya, Steve do you mind putting me on the ground?" I asked, and he nodded. Carefully picking me up and slowly putting me down. I walked over to the wire inspecting it. How was I supposed to climb back up?
I tried climbing back up the wire but I just slipped back down to the bottom. I tried climbing up some boxes, but a small hint, I was too small. I asked Steve but he couldn't even get up from the slab, he corrected me telling me its a berth.
They have such strange names for things. Steve told me they call their heads helms, and their feet pedes and all other things like their hands are called servos. After forgetting about the names of their body parts, sounds weird. I went over to the other counter that could get me to the other one if I did some parkour, hopefully, I can do this or I'm going to break my leg or something.
Turns out the boxes over here didn't disappoint me, unlike the other counter's boxes. I made it successfully to the top, walking over to the edge. I swung over to the other counter with some low hanging wires. I almost fell to my death like fifteen times, but overall my mission complete. I wish I had meme glasses.
I almost completely forgot about Steve and I didn't even notice Knockout and Breakdown left. Steve clapped making me visibly flinch. "Oh hi, Steve. I forgot you were here!" I stuttered out. Feeling very embarrassed, I walked back over to my bag of stuff. "So Steve, what happened exactly to get you here?" I asked, looking over at him.
"The Autobots are attacking our mines, trying to get information about a certain human..." He seemed to realize something. "Wait, are you that human?" Steve asked, trying his best to sit up to have a better look at me. "I mean, I only met them for like ten minutes before I left and got kidnapped so... yeah I'm pretty sure." I said, shrugging.
I picked up my alcoholic makers and went to the back of my sketchbook. Trying random colors on the last page of the paper. I found the perfect black and gray, but purple was hard. It was either too light or too magenta for the right shade of purple. In the end, I found a good enough one for my liking.
I put in thirty minutes of my time to make sure he was shaded just right, taking too much time to make it perfect. After that, I looked around the room, nothing really to draw. I flipped back to my first page and continued to sketch my landscape out.
I got bored of drawing after some time and realized that Knockout came back and was in the room repairing Steve's arm, or actually more like replacing it. I'm guessing I was too focused to notice he came in. A thought came up, what if that spider lady came in here while I was focused? Maybe she was stopped again from hurting me?
I stopped thinking about it, watching the operation closely. I wander back to the back of my thoughts, will the Autobots come and save me or leave me to die or whatever these guys are planning with me?
I looked over at Knockout's tools. They were as shiny as him, does he knock himself out buffering everything? Pun intended. I wanted to do something that doesn't consist of being boring. "Hey Knockout," I called out, getting a hum as my answer.
"What are your plans for today? Like something fun I can tag along." I asked. He looked back at me. "You like racing?"
_Time skip_
Knockout was allowed to go racing, I snuck out with him. And now here I was in the passenger seat buckled up. "Knockout, don't they have to see the drivers before the race starts?" He scoffed, mumbling about stupid stuff. A human fizzed into the driver's seat. "What the-" "Don't freak Daisy, just me." Knockout's voice came from the stranger holding the wheel.
I just nodded pretending to understand, I didn't. But I'm glad he's not calling me fleshy anymore, at least for now. A woman came up to the window, she tapped the window. The window rolled down. She had very pretty brown hair, like my mother's.
She and Knockout spoke as I looked out the window, seeing a shiny blue car. A girl was in the car, blowing bubblegum. The girl who was at our window was now at hers. I got a tap on my shoulder making me turn to Knockout.
Knockout was looking at me weirdly. "What are you doing?" He asked. "Just looking outside," I said looking at the race line. Did he think I was making a scheme to escape or something? He watched, ready for the flags to be raised. His wheels spun, racing forward to be first.
The car next to us was that blue car from earlier. I waved, and she speed forward after. Okay, I didn't want to see you either. I looked over at Knockout who was too focused on the race to even notice another car coming close.
"Knockout turn right!" I yelled and he did just that. He swerved, almost hitting the other car off. The car missed and slowed down, getting behind us. I sighed, relaxing into the seat. He took a sharp turn causing someone to get stuck in a ditch.
"Knockout don't ever let me agree to come racing with you ever again!" I cried out, holding onto the side of the seat as he drove faster. "Got it." He said, not even looking over at me. Driving faster by the minute. I sealed my eyes shut forcing all the thoughts of getting hit out of my head.
