Callie's P.O.V:
Walking through the quad, I breathe in the warm spring air and smile. Today marks two and a half months since Arizona and I have been intimate. Well, not intimate, intimate, but I'm sure you get the idea. Everything has been nothing but perfect between us and I'm really hoping it stays that way. We haven't labeled what we are to each other yet, but I'm not the one for labels. We decided exchange numbers that way we can still talk to each other in between activities. Even though we see each other every day, it's nice to be able to message her or receive a message from her later on in the night. As I move closer to the area I normally meet my unit, I notice that no one is around.
"What the hell?" I say to myself. Then when luck would have it, Altman came waltzing up, "Altman, where is everyone?"
"Oh, Hahn told us that you said we were skipping today," she says, narrowing her brows in confusion, "you did tell her that, didn't you?"
"No, I didn't. Damnit! Okay, well...do what she says," I tell her, shaking my head, "do you know where she is?"
"Arizona? Oh, she's probably in-"
"I'm talking about Hahn," I say, not meaning to cut her off.
"Oh, I'm not sure. You could try her room," she says.
I give her a nod, then walk off to find Hahn. When I got to her room, I hear shuffling behind her door, so I know she was in her room. I give a quick knock, then step back, waiting for her to answer. When the door finally swung open, a bright smile formed on the taller blonde's face.
"Callie, what do I owe the pleasure?"
"It's Lieutenant, Major Hahn," I correct her, "and where the hell do you get off canceling activities with my cadets?" My voice coming out stern. I cross my arms waiting for an answer.
"I thought that after last night, you would need a day off," she answers with a shrug.
"What are you talking about?" I ask her, a little confused.
"Oh, you know, your activities last night with Cadet Robbins," My eyes go wide with shock and my body runs cold.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I quickly reply, pretending not to know what she was getting at.
"Really? Huh...well maybe the video will refresh your memory," she says, with an appeasing smile. Video? What video? My heart begins to pound in my chest just as she stepped away for a minute. When she returned, she fidgeted with her phone for a minute and then held it up for me to see. OH NO! My eyes go wide in shock once again and my mind runs a mile a minute.
"W-where did you get that?" I stutter out once I found my voice.
"Wouldn't you like to know," she says with a smug grin. She turns the device back herself, then looks up at me, "I must say, I never thought you had it in you, Torres. Of all the time that I've known you, I've never known you to break the rules. But I guess I was wrong,"
"What do you want, Major Hahn," I asked nervously. If this ever got out to Webber, I'd be in a lot of trouble. Not just with me, but all the Lieutenants who were caught with their Cadets.
"I'm not one for blackmailing, but..." I let out a frustrating growl, then turned to walk away, but instantly stopped.
"But what?" I say, turning back to the taller blonde in front of me.
"This video can go away on one condition?"
"And that you would be?"
"Go on a date with me," she stated.
"Not on your life," I shot back, rolling my eyes.
"Then I guess not only will Webber see it but the entire academy as well. They can see what a cradle rocker their lieutenant is,"
"You little-" I lunged, raising my fist at her. She takes a step back and then quickly puts her hands out to stop me.
"Not so fast, Torres," she snarls, "you better think twice about your actions and the words that come out of your mouth next," I take in a deep breath to try and calm myself before walking away. Erica Hahn really thinks it's all fun and games playing with me like that. Knowing that any little mishap could end my spot here at West Point. I rush out of our dorm building, the door swinging open and hitting the wall. I race across the quad to look for Arizona. Stopping to catch my breath, I find her over by the obstacle course. I dart in her direction and call out her name. She turns to me and smiles her cute little dimpled smile.
"Lieutenant, I was just doing some workouts here on the obstacle course. I figured I'd get some time in since-" I raise my hand to stop her from saying anything further.
"We have bigger problems," I tell her, bending over to catch my breath.
"What do you mean?" she asks, furrowing her brow, "what other issues could there be?"
"Hahn," I say, taking a deep breath in, "Hahn is our bigger problem,"
"What do you mean?" again, sounding confused.
"She knows," I blurted out without any explanation.
"Okay," she drawls out, "of course, she knows. I asked her if I could come over here since our activities got canceled for the day,"
"Not that," I growl, "she knows about us,"
"About us-how the hell did she find out?"
"She found out last night. When we were in the shower room,"
"Okay, but's it our word against hers, Callie. She has no proof. All it is is hearsay. Anything she says won't count-"
"Will you stop with the law talk. This isn't the court of law, damnit," I say a little too harshly, causing her to flinch, "She has a fucking video, Arizona. She has proof. God, I knew this would fucking happen. The one time when I'm finally happy with my life, all begins hell breaks loose again,"
"Callie, I-" I put my hand up to stop her.
"Don't! Don't apologize. This was my fault. Not yours," I say to her, "we will figure something out okay? We will be fine,"
"Okay," she says, her voice getting quiet.
Later that night, after dinner, I hurried back to my room. I wasn't in the mood to be around anyone let alone talk to anyone. But that didn't stop Hahn from stopping me in the hallway.
"Lieutenant, I think we need to have a chat," Erica calls out, catching me in the hallway.
"I have nothing else to say to you, Major," I snap, doing my best to walk away, but was pulled to a stop by her hand grabbing my wrist.
"Look, it's not about our conversation from this morning. I think there is something you should know,"
"I told you I'm.not.in.the.mood." I punctuated out through gritted teeth. Just as I tried to walk away again, she tightens her grip and I hear her blurt out.
"Your girlfriend is only here because she got caught drinking," I was finally able to tug my arm away from her and stepped up to where we were now inches from each other's faces.
"I know. She told me. Is there anything else? If not, I'd like to get back to my room,"
"Well, did she tell you that before came here she was facing DUI charges because she nearly killed a friend that she had with her?"
"What?" I exclaimed, a little shocked by this new information.
"Yeah," she says, shaking her head.
"I don't believe you," I tell, still in shock.
"Fine. Then ask her," she quips.
"I will,"
