"I live with three kids and a gorilla for a husband but at least I'm still able to wake them up. You on the other hand, are a whole different story" Xamira frowned as she drove back to the hotel.

"I was tired. Besides, you could've-"

"No. I didn't call you a gorilla Diego" She sighed, rolling her eyes.

"You know he can't see you right?" I giggled and she glared at me.

"You're really getting on my nerves today" She groaned. "Yes I'm talking to you and V as well" She said, placing her second earbud into her ear before making a sharp turn. "I swear, I will end this fucking call"

"You're so grumpy today, why?" I asked her, fiddling with my belt as we entered the hotel parking lot.

"No, she doesn't know. If you'd stop talking and calling, I would actually be able to tell her" Xamira gave me a soft smile as she helped me with the seat belt.

"How did you do that?" I mouthed to her as we walked into the hotel lobby, heading to the elevator.

"I'm used to it... but I'm guessing this is the first time you've fixed your nails?" She asked, her voice laced with laughter.

"Yeah. I never actually had a reason too. I didn't like dancing with fixed nails."

"Well, now you do and I think you made an awesome choice. They're gorgeous" Xamira gushed as we stopped in front of our room door, searching her bag for the key.

"Did you get your nails done? No. So why the fuck would I be talking to you?" Xamira groaned, shoving the door open.

I couldn't help but smile at her words as I looked down at my nails. I decided on short nude matte, coffin-style nails and each nail was decorated with rhinestones and glitter.

I begged Xamira profusely to let me pay for our nails but she refused.

"I know and I will, whenever you decide to hang up" She sighed, throwing the Ferrari keys on the bed.

"Faresti meglio a pregare che Olive e io rimaniamo amici dopo il ballo di oggi. Altrimenti non ti permetterò di toccarmi o scoparmi per un mese." My face furrowed in confusion as she mentioned my name.
(You had better pray that Olive and I remain friends after the ball today. Otherwise, I won't let you touch or fuck me for a month.)

"That's a good boy. I'll see you in a few hours" She smiled. "I love you to the moon and back" She whispered before ending the call.

She let out a huge sigh, plopping down face first on the bed beside me. "You're actually really cute" I giggled, nudging her.

"Shut up" She mumbled, sitting up straight before she sighed. "Now we have to start getting ready for the ball"

"Luckily, we've showered and everything"

"Yeah, all that's left now is to get our dresses on, do our hair and makeup, put on our masks and then call one of the drivers to come pick us up." She groaned.

"A mask?"

"It's a masquerade ball; we all have to wear masks. When we get into the ballroom, the first thing we do is look for everyone in the inner circle, that is our family as well as Griffin's and all our friends. It's been our tradition. The guys didn't tell you?"

"No, they didn't " I groaned, covering my face with a pillow. "I don't have a mask, what am I supposed to do?"

Xamira laughed as I felt her get off the bed and heard her dragging something across the tiles before I felt something being lugged on the bed.
